Giraffe with Yan

When i wrote this right, i keep thinking that Giraffe is liyan.

Think about it~ she is tall and probably have a long neck becoz she is slim.. LOL...



Giraffe is a place opp where our president stay. Yes, Istana Park. Yan still thought that istana Park refer to the place president stay. How could a restaurant be in therE? haha.. are you dissappointed upon arrival?


inside view

The inside view is pretty good. i kinda like the ambience though i keep worrying about green house effect. The building is made of glass






Plaza Sing is behind

we opt for a indoor seat maybe because of the consideration that it is near the road. but well, thanks to yan who make a reservation. it was a "slightly" crowded night with "events"

Food came slowly and one at a time. I kinda like the way they serve, just that one waitress was super erm.. dunno how to describe.

both were great. and the clam chowder is too generous with ingredients.


giraffe salad

the salad was recommended, and i think it is pretty good, except that i really felt like a giraffe due to the veg feeling. the soft shell crab is normal and i started to have cravings for the soft shell crab at royal plaza @ beach road. *drools*


my main

the fries is yummy but the burger is too dry for my throat. i felt kinda horrible towards the ending and i gave up. suitable for ppl who like dry meat rather juicy.


yan's laksa pasta

it is terrific!! if i ever go back, i will love to eat this dish. (though my stomach may cry later). Baby will love it too!!


rose and white wine

we had order the wine as the burger is too dry and yan's pasta was too spicy for her.
well, there is one for one happy hour, so logically is worth it, BUT, they have a policy that one-for-one cannot be share between two person. So it means we have to have 2 sets of one-for-one. Sounds crazy to me. Pray god that swensens and coffee club ain't that mad. Anyway, the rose wine is so-so and white wine hurts my tongue. Afterall is house pour, i shouldn't be expecting that much either.

During the meal, we notice that some balloons were prepared at one of the table, and we got abit excited!! Someone is going to propose!!



The words on the heart-shaped were "Alicia, will you marry me?"
While eating, we were super excited to see the lucky Alicia, and to witness a proposal which we probably never did. Well, it was kinda disappointing at the end, coz we din saw the reaction we wanted. Yes, we watch too much drama and variety show liao. Real life isn't that touching.

i heart yan's camera!! same brand, same mega pix, but thinner!! haiz~ does camera takes over the owners? or the other way round? but well, only happy that my screen is big. yes, i bought it for THAT purpose!! (to add on, yan's also cheaper lor!!)


Night views makes me drowy

after the whole meal, we drop by Plaza Sing and ended up @ Selegie for the famous beancurd!! Yummy Yummy!! Though i yet to understand why Jia Hao like the butterfly there, but the you tiao and xian jian bing is just super good that i have no choice but to da bao everything home for mum!! the beancurd is probably the best i tasted so far~ election-folks are so lucky to be able to eat there everyday!! I want eat their beancurd again!! (and maybe try the butterfly?)
