Back from a break

The 4 days of leave doesn't make me any happier or more relaxed. In fact i felt pretty lost from work. The worse thing is that i'm going another site temporary to make myself even more lost from my current working environment T_T The thought of it make me miss everyone. Especially when i was super looking forward to coming back and having meals with my lovely co-workers. miya says it is not healthy (mentally) and i had to argee. Trying my best to make adjustment now.

On and Off i will be taking leave. Msg me if you are interested. I have manage to plan for 7 days of leave including a short MY trip with baby and 2 night stays in Marina Bay Sands. I had already book the room for Marina Bay Sands and it is the most expensive room (note, not suite). 2 days coz it will be for my mum's bday celebration. Anyone know if MBS has any good cake shop for bday cake? No way that i'm bringing it in from elsewhere. Dumb & Lazy.

As for the malaysia trip, sorry for the dissappointment but we going genting. Being broke (wedding & house), we had no choice but to settle for a 3 nights in Genting since is it FREE!! And yes, we only have to pay for the transportation and food. Actually it is kinda great for the poor little us.

I still have 9 more days of leave to plan. Which i will keep some for yan or mayu who are coming back end of this year. I love meeting up with them. Or i should say i just missed them.

Today i took a journey back home on a road that has many meaning to me. Is a desire, i told myself. But i can't help feeling sad. Sometimes it is scary when happy memories give you a sadness effect whenever you think about it.

Tml is the start of the 4 days off i getting for free~ which means i gotta rest? No... 4 days i pack them full of activities and i suspect i will come back tired.

Yes, you can start booking my time. Though night i'm free, but if you wanna meet me like 7pm, i'm not very keen to wait from 2pm to 7pm unless it is real fun, or unless u live near me.

I like the feeling coz i seldom can find places in SG where i can cook by myself. But well the food is so-so only....

I finally have one!! and is literally free!! My sis got it for me from China =D

Now i no longer have to worry abt low batt when i playing my iPhone when on the road =D

Genting - KL Trip

Had fun!!

Was away from 12 Aug - 15 Aug going for a short trip with my colleagues. This is definitely my 1st attempt, considering that i haven worked for long.

12 Aug
we met at Golden Mile Complex to take a coach in. We stayed in Genting for the 1st night. Casino was our aim but wins seems little. The whole group generally lose. We are the contributors to the Genting Economy =P

Surprisingly this time round i generally have little or no motion sickness. Thanks to the super-steady drivers of Five Stars Travel.

This was my 1st attempt staying in First World Hotel. Usually i either stay in Genting or Resort. It wasn't that bad, but it wasn't that good either.


Mushroom Farm

The highlights of our journey is eat eat and eat. But as the food is too great, i din manage to take much pictures. This is the mushroom farm that was like 5 mins journey down from First World Hotel. The food is so good that i think i'll probably go back Genting again for the food. =P

13 Aug

American Breakfast >> coach to KL. Shop around Genting to see if we get any good catch, and i bought a dress.

Can't remember the price, but wasn't anything near to costly. After that we packed our luggage and go to First World Bus Terminal to wait for our coach. We had pre-arrange for that as probably coach is more steady that taxi? well, it was a good choice too. Apart from they gave us a big coach, i had minimal motion sickness despite of the friday jam.

This is my 1st time staying in KL and the hotel is actually much better than First World~ <3

Pavilion

Our 1st destination is @ Pavilion. Quite SG-like style. I came out empty-handed despite liking a pair or ballet-shoes. cost abt SGD80 so i think abit not worth while..

We went Chinatown at night and i was completedly stunned!! All the fake designer goods!! I became suspicious of ppl carrying the bags thinking that they were all fake =P. Hahaha..

That night we had the super nice fried hokkien mee (black color) @ Chinatown as well as the much-better-than-singapore's ramily burger. *yum yum*

Shopping @ Sungei Wang, Lot 10, Times Square. Some were real cheap buys but some are not.

The day of departure. Checkout time is 12noon. Bus is 02:30pm. We went for more last minute shopping and omiyage buying. But as it was last day, i din not take any pictures of my purchase. Some is probably already in stomach. =P

Wish i had bought a bag too but i din. So it was probably the only missed out. =(

I'm looking forward to my next trip~ It is great to have a break from work!!

Hey guys~ Sorry for the missing the tweets when i was away. Was suppose to tweet but din get a data sim card in the end. coz wanted to enjoy to the fullest, so i practically ignore all network related thing.

Anyway it was fun!! I will be posting up the details in the next post, so meanwhile, please wait k? i try to finish up by tml if possible. But i kinda have quite a number of things to do so i try my best =D

euxil painted my nails for me in a pretty shade of purple. We bought the nail polish from KL. Nv paint my own nails for long time. Usually will go for manicure/pedicure to do it. But DIY is fun!! thanks euxil!!

I'll be getting up the bus soon. Will be posting on the trip after i come back and go back to work on monday. Monday is a good time to post info esp since it is so bored in ofc.

Finally a quarter of a century. Well, it is still pretty scary for me.

Anyway, apart from Lunch & Dinner, i spent my day at Marina Bay Sands. Seriously speaking i dun really like the place coz there is a Green-House-Effect feeling.

We went up to the Skypark, the weather is super hot. As it was a surprise, and i have no sunglasses,i could hardly open my eyes... =(

I really like this cake alot and it is the first to celebrate my upcoming quarter to a century. Does 25 sounds scary? I think it does. At least it freak me out. I really love this cake as it is something interesting & unique. Good selection for my nieces bday. o(^o^)o
