1st day @ a new working place is horrible because
no internet...
it is like taking away my bread and butter lor.. (T_T)
tried connecting to the internet the whole day while waiting for work to be given
(super horrible feeling + waste of resources)
finally today, with the help of my lovely helpdesk, i manage to connect to wireless@SG

Stella Awards

It's time again for the annual "Stella Awards"!
For those unfamiliar with these awards, they are named after 81-year-old Stella Liebeck who spilled hot coffee on herself and successfully sued the McDonald's in New Mexico where she purchased the coffee. Carl Truman, 19, of Los Angeles, California won $74,000 plus medical expenses when his neighbor ran over his hand with a Honda Accord. Truman apparently didn't notice there was someone at the wheel of the car when he was trying to steal his neighbor's hubcaps.

5TH PLACE:
Terrence Dickson, of Bristol, Pennsylvania, who was leaving a house he had just burglarized by way of the garage. Unfortunately for Dickson, the automatic garage door opener malfunctioned and he could not get the garage door to open. Worse, he couldn't re-enter the house because the door connecting the garage to the house locked when Dickson pulled it shut. Forced to sit for eight, count 'em, EIGHT, days on a case of Pepsi and a large bag of dry dog food, he sued the homeowner's insurance company claiming undue mental Anguish.
Amazingly, the jury said the insurance company must pay Dickson $500,000 for his
anguish. We should all have this kind of anguish.

most likely will move over next week. but my barang barang can remain @ yck. coz anyway some days also need to stay in yck. sian~ seems like need to move my lappy over too (hopefully dun need move it everyday)

Morning Bus-stop
This morning i saw a couple quarreling at the bus-stop.
When i look at the woman, i wonder if i also look the same when i quarrel with Baby Thia. That's so ugly!!

Day of Last Week - Friday
The Friday is an eventful day.
Had photoshooting @ NYP during lunch break to help to promote NYP to the potential students. The gold medal disgrace me. It looks so much smaller than the silver medal!! haiz.. i think the picture will look super funny. The team is small, but somewhat professional. Anyway, waiting for the pictures to be send to me!!
Lunch had to settle for something in NYP due to a rush of time. Met my industrial project lecturer and he intro some deputy director to me :D
Went to watch the murder of inugami clan. super old type of show.. but i love the mystery, i love matsushima nanako in the show.. hehe..
had a fight with baby thia before the show, but patch up upon the start of it. reason? show starts @ 8.25 and he is at tuas @ 7:45pm and lakeside mrt @ 7:55pm.
haiz. speechless.
Dinner in the cathay cinema is fun. so dark, cannot see the food at all. but the baked rice is yummy. and wasn't that expensive. paid abt $18+ for a medium popcorn, 2 drinks, one chicken baked rice and one fish & chips. Kinda worth it i think.
Anyway, i think i still like cathay @ The Cathay and GV Gold Class or GV Max. One day should try the GV Cinema Europa. Haven been there yet.

Change of skin care
I have been using L'Oreal for quite some time. maybe abt two years? since the day i started to realise that i need a toner but olay dun have.
previously i was someone who one switch, will switch all the products. recently i learn that it is not neccessary (i used to think that the effect will be better if use all in the same series).
the 1st time i started to change my skin care will be to use the face shop products, and to use bobbi brown eye cream. i'm now starting to change slower.
Now using L'Oreal Facial Foam, but the next bottle to go after this finishes will be The Body Shop Aloe Facial Foam, Then i'm planning to get Shu uemura Cleansing Water. Has tested it at the shop and i think is pretty good (yeah!)
Another thing that i'm changing is Make Up Remover. With the introduction of RMK(RuMiKo) from Japan, i have immediately got a bottle of each and planning to use immediately upon the finish of my current L'Oreal Cleasing Milk and Lip & Eye Make Up Remover. I like the RMK texture as it is not too oily as L'Oreal is. Seriously i don't like cleasing oil.
Now i have change my night cream to The Face Shop Dewy Flower and toner to The Body Shop Aloe Calming Toner. Decided that i will not longer believe in using a standard series.
I'm looking for a good whitening essence. Anyone have something good to recommend?
My main skin concerns will be Hydration + Whitening + Anti-aging (aka firming) + Pore Tightening. Let me know if you have any good reco for me.

the stupid baby thia last minute say has to OT. Last night he still tell me go ahead and book tickets 1st~~ then i told him i'll book today, and this morning he say cannot (T_T) *kick, punch, hit baby thia to ocean pacific*

till now, only steph is ok, but she is meeting her bf today and how can i be a light bulb.. (coz she say the 3 of us watch together) *super sad now*
the show may be off screen soon, and one day only got 2 slots(late afternoon and night), i only can watch tonight. haiz.

Fire Drill !!
Since secondary school, i never experience this again.
today my office got fire drill~ haha.. so surprised that i'll say hello to fire drills again. but it was fun (for the 1st half).
I try extinguishing fire on a fire wok, and CPR. This is really fun and pending photos from aibing.
But the evacuation is horrible in the hot sun. haiz...
In conclusion,
Fire Drill = Skip Work + Get a tan.

Free L'Oreal True Match 2-way foundation in R2.
I have extra refills and i'm giving it away. sorry that there is no casing for u. but the texture is good and it will still come with a sponge, so u still can apply at home.
anyway, u dun really bring foundation out right?
so contact me k? i have two extra refills. one is proper packaging, while the other is not. but both are brand new and not used yet.
by the way, for your information, the reason why i giving it away is because i'm dry skin. wanna switch to liquid foundation.

疯了啦！！
告别讨人厌的Mr X 后, 又来了另一个。
there is a cleaning lady at my office who is in charge of the area beside me.
i used to be very nice to her, coz i'm the type that will say hi to all of them as they help me to make our environment better.
but this week i got a little irritated too. (wonder issit becoz i got PMS..)
anyway, let me tell you what happen yesterday and this morning ba.
yesterday morning, i was testing on my codes, then she came to empty the bin, as usual, i pull out my bin (i put it under my table). Then she started to continue the conversation that coz a few other ppl is throwing away their flowers etc etc. Then she continue her "speech" for abit 20 mins, but i din really pay attention (i know is rude, but my codes need to be ready by noon).
then after she walk away, one of my colleagues came over and give me famous amos cookies. it was un-open and left on the table. Later when she walk past with a vacuum cleaner, she stop at my place and tell me that cannot eat this cookies, no good for health, will grow fat, even she also dun dare to eat de lor. then continue again again and again. my table happen to have some chocolates that another colleague gave previously and she continue to comment on that too.
then peaceful time came, lunch. as one of my colleagues need to go meeting, so we went earlier, which means i came back early, which means i met her again during the lunch throwing of rubbish. She looked at my the other flower (soft-toy flower given by wendy) and say it is very nice and ask if it my 定情信物。 i told her no la.. and casually mention that it is a gift from my friend and not expensive de. Then she say “礼轻情义种。 你明白吗？“
“我明白。”
“你解释给我听。”
我的妈阿！！ i almost faint at the spot.
Then later i saw her in the toilet. I was clipping up my hair (the way i always do when i work), coz my hair was abit messy after coming out from toilet. Then she started again
(Lazy to type in chinese, we spoke in mandarin, so i translate abit)
She : Why don't you go cut your hair?
Me : ??
She : Your hair so long should cut liao
Me : No la, i like my hair to be long.
She : Do you steam your hair? (FYI, she really use the english word steam)
Me : Steam?
She : Ya, must steam ma then will soft
Me : (thinking that she refer to treatment) ya, sometimes.
She : Must steam then hair will be soft (she repeats)
Me : (ready to leave the toilet)
She : (Look into the mirror) Last time i also got long hair, but you see now bald liao, so i don't dare to have long hair
Me : ...
I'm glad that she end work at 4:30pm
Then this morning, she came and talk abt throwing away my dry flowers again and
started questioning me abt the guy who sit beside me... how would i know where is he, where he stay, what he doing, is he coming back today. haiz...
now i try not to even talk to her except saying "Thank you" whenever she empty my bin
there is a cleaning lady at my office who is in charge of the area beside me.
i used to be very nice to her, coz i'm the type that will say hi to all of them as they help me to make our environment better.
but this week i got a little irritated too. (wonder issit becoz i got PMS..)

Irritating
early in the morning i saw X.
X is someone that i think is super irritating.
I knew that he is so irritating when i 1st met him.
(Christina may know who i refer to)
Then suai suai this morning again meet him.
i was late, due to a stomach upset + yesterday work later than usual.
so he ask me what time i usually go home. my answer is recently abt 6+.
then he sarcastically ask that "then you come at this time?"
He is NOT my boss, who is he to comment? And worse still, he himself come so late wat. Even if he work late yesterday, it does NOT mean that i did not work late yesterday. And if he comment based on my answer, then i would say his english sux coz he ask "usually" k!!
What does he knows about my work? does he know when i work till 1am, and had to come in at 8am? who is he to judge that i'm wrong to come at this time? I wouldn't pull the rest of the people in company into the same hot soup, but then i just felt angry at the way he speak.
Anyway, people like him who come "on time usually' make no difference to ppl who come late. Coz they will spend their own sweet time in the canteen having breakfast and chit-chat till 10.30am. (official work time start is 8:30am). So ppl who come at 9am does not means they are not contributing!!
I should have ignored him like the way i did previously.

Weekend - Saturday
This weekend is a super tiring one. Packed with messy activities.
Saturday started with lesson @ ikoma. Mum was sick last weekend, so apart from missing matsuri, i also miss my sunday lesson. Thanks to ikoma that a replacement is never difficult.
After lesson, i went to border to get my cosmo. cosmo is one of my fav magazine now. it is very different compared to RAY. RAY is my fashion, beauty, skincare consultant, while cosmo is my brain consultant. maybe alot of ppl may think cosmo have a lot of sex related articles, but then u may also notice there are alot of real life stories at the other end of the world.
meeting baby thia make one impt aim of the day. to get Paul & Joe Lullaby!! and i added a lip color, nude like skin color i would say. very different from what i usually will put, but i'm super happy with it. coz is nice!! i give up the pink color for this. @ isetan, i was so excited when i see RMK. do u know what RMK stands for?

anyway, i got a little attracted, but faster move my feet to Paul & Joe instead.
On the bus to PS (movie + lunch + men's shopping), we met baby thia's colleague.. so paiseh!! coz i did something embarressing in front of them. (T_T)
lunch was at manhanttan, coz i had a 15% discount with thanks to UOB. much cheaper than Fish & Co, but Fish & Co is much tastier.. well...
clearing vouchers are impt so we went to get man's clothing (of coz is BT wear la).
watch Wall. E. only one comment. cute yet i think i don't really suit to watch anything that has very little human language. almost died in loss of words.
bought some facial cotton from daiso. if shuhan see this, she will think i'm mad.
coz friday i just bought some. well, last time i used to think i'm ok with watson's facial cotton which is like less than 1 cent per piece. Until i use kanebo facial cotton. **stunned** how can facial cotton be that good!! watson is so disappointing becoz of the "dropping cotton" but anyway, it is cheap ma.. so well, i got some from daiso coz it is cheaper. $2 for 120 pieces, which is less than 2 cents each. coz kanebo's $8 ++ for 60 pieces, and $6.50 for 120 pieces for two different type.

the body shop was having some clearance at PS atrium, so went to join the fun. bought aloe vera toner (heard from mayu abt it) and aloe vera cleanser. my l'oreal white perfect cleanser is finishing and it ripping my skin dry. so thought of trying this and see how.
ended the day with yummy beef hor fun, thai bee hoon and cosmetics packing!!
