it really matters...

I'm getting my bonus tomorrow and i feeling freaking broke now..
the wedding expenses is crazy. am i asking too much. what is the problem?
As of now, wedding budget needs is about 40k. Crazy...

SIL that day told me need to budget more loss for wedding. another crazy factor. i thought i budget alot liao.. still not enough?

i dunno how to get money for wedding le.. super broke.. got bonus also like cannot spent. T_T

About 1/2 a year done. About one month to my birthday

Half of the year gone. Time for new resolution. I work hard today to drink many cups of water. I tried to sleep earlier at 3am last night. I remember my face mask last night. I did my hair treatment last night. I'm trying to start working on my new resolutions, but meanwhile i have some to-do for myself to do for this 2 week.

1. Check Passport Expiry Date.
Yes, baby keep urging me to check my passport expiry date and i dunno why.
2. Clean up my messy room.
My room needs a clean badly. Baby's mum is coming my house end of July~
3. Check out Kose Sale @ Great World City
Gg to check out if they have any good buys that i can buy
4. Prepare Birthday Wish List
Coz baby says so.

Friends, if u meeting me in July/August for my bday. I suggest let's book my time earlier. 1st i have weekend shift, so i can't meet on 11 July, 25 July, 8 Aug & 22 Aug. Next i may be planning for a short trip in Aug, so 12 -15 Aug is out. 17 July i should be gg for Wedding Shows so another OUT. 31 July baby's mum coming my house, so also out.

Finally an off day that i have the time solely by myself. Had a good rest in the morning and now doing pedi. I love the new black and white classic design. No manicure today coz I broke my nails! Probably will come 2 weeks later. =D 

Sunday I went marriott to see the ballroom. Was nt bad in some areas but not too good in another. Well, got a few more options to see. Most imptly is still the Solemnisation venue!! We haven settle it yet. Gg to view our fav location for ROM in July. Best is can settle soon. Baby says to go bridal show so can confirm ROM dress asap. Well, I'm more concern abt the shoes!!! Haha... It seem that we both are probably over excited even though long way to go.

Gg to meet Shuhan later but I really hungry now. What shall I eat? Thinking of tai Hua noodles @ hong lim leh~~~ I really love it!!!  

World Cup Craze

Shit~ can you believe i'm awake coz i was so crazy abt the new match?

Haha~ is just a simple game between me & my colleagues and i all crazy about it~

Finally~~ i was pretty upset about the Brazil vs Korea Match coz i guess 4-2 and it ended up as 4-1 T_T
I was grumbling to my boss about this for about half an hour after midnight. I bet he hates me =P

Tired~ think i wun stay tune for the final results.. Half an hour more.. *yawns*

today i woke up a few times in the morning, but the final wake up was about 12:50pm and i reach office at 1:35pm!! Make up done, clothes properly dressed. So proud of myself!! haha.. Btw, my shift starts at 3pm!

Recently i have been discussing with baby over the msn at night when i am free during night shift. We notice that the thought of 20 months is alot was kinda wrong. After the big things to decide (like dates, venues, bridal shop), we have ALOT of small things to plan (like schedule, test gowns, purchase things). Especially when the 20 months inclusive of flat arrival and we will need to reno abit and buy the furniture etc.

Tml baby and i will discuss in details of the time-line to make sure that the time is enough. Haha...

Some finding during my research.
1. 7 or 8 course meal are available for Wedding Lunch
2. Some hotels no longer offer shark fin =(
3. Solemnization could be more expensive. =(
4. The visit to hotel is call Site Inspection.
5. Expect to pay for > $1k per table (5-star hotel) if you gg to marry later than me. =p
6. Leaves are super precious coz many site inspections are only available on Weekdays.
7. Wedding Lunch are less pro to alcohol-drinking thus less drunk-idiots.
8. Cheaper price per table may means more extra charges.
9. Good photographer/cameraman are booked up to Dec 2011. T_T
10. Gifts received from Host to Guest during dinner is called Wedding Flavors.

Don't say i kiasu hor. We only have weekends to source for what we want.

Another night of googling

i'm completed beat...

today off day, so spend my time to help in the ba zhang -ing.
after that deliver some to office, follow by passing it to miya @ TP.

Back home, dad & mum discussed abt what to tell baby when he comes to ask the hand (e.g. how many tables). Discussed with mum on small details to help us better budget the amount need to spend... (e.g. red packets). Next was googling around for all the lunch packages. But 2012 Package where got out so soon~ i email some hotels to see if i can get some information. Baby is lucky. I'm the one doing the budgeting, checklist-ing, remembering all the super-chim teochew terms for some things, and also finding out the packages and doing the comparison charts.

should i down-grade my expectations of the hotels? probably it will be easier.
Let's just hope they start replying tomorrow, and tomorrow night will be a busy night again. T_T

Budgeting

Starting to count count & count...

Seems like alot of things to consider.

Wedding + House + ROM. We estimate need abt 60k++
Anyone need ur budgeting liao? How much do u need?

We have finally come to a conclusion that Wedding Lunch is our option. *finger-crossed*
I'm worried for the last minute change by the SENIORS, as well as unable to find a good place for wedding lunch.

Before that is the ROM venue. Seen a few online, probably need to start sourcing. We may only be including the family members and not relatives & friends. Still in consideration but to be confirm. We wanted it to be simple, love the presence of our friends & relative but we had a budget to keep. Especially when hime has a big family of 15 and i dunno if additional babies are coming to join us for this joyous occasion.

So yan & kkg~ make sure you are around in 2012 after CNY. The day that you get a chance to bully patrick once in this lifetime.. hohoho... I'll ask you to fly back no matter whether you are in australia, japan or north-pole...

time to consider that bonus needs to go in to the housing contribution. guess what.. out of 60k+ thia is contributing > 40k!! =p poor thia~ but who ask you wan to marry hime? hard work is needed!! =D

The things that comes after the ring

Choosing a date comes next. It is kinda troublesome coz have so many people opinion to take!! zZZz...

If baby's dad & mum is fine, we will probably settle for 21 April 2011 as the ROM Day. coz it is our 4th anniversary. Good day to choose for ROM. (But i think is baby's scheming idea to save on one present~ =p ) Now pending the approval of all the SENIORS... must check make sure that it dun crash with this date or that date... come on, i thought only the customary wedding needs all these. ROM should be simpler right?

Baby & i are sourcing for ROM venues and probably need to source for bridal related things. Desmond says the earlier we start, the cheaper.. but abit kuang zhang leh.. haiz.. Like one & a half year in advance? But next year will be busy. *??*

then now still in discussion of another thing and we seems to cannot get a common understanding. Wedding Lunch or Wedding Dinner. And for wedding dinner, i think they(my daddy, baby etc) seems to cannot understand that, i rather have no wedding dinner than to settle for a restaurant for my wedding dinner. i'm sorry if i hurt ppl for saying that. But restaurant is no-no. i'm still trying to fight for my rights. Any supporters? T_T

I seriously love to use them.

With these lovely tools, i can create better looks and happier faces.

I used to only have Bobbi Brown & Body Shop Brushes. Recently i bought 4 new pieces of Sephora and i loving it.

A tip that i realised, with the usage of mineral brushes, blusher look nicer and easier to control. =D

i think i need new bags.
bags last longer for me than shoes.
so i'm willing to spend on bags.

I have a nine-west supper+market bag. a good bag to go for a quick supper at the some place. Can sling and also can be a clutch.

I know i need a bigger clutch. I saw a Erno dunno wat. Baby say dun buy. But i think i gg to buy tml. Dun care. =p
