Apologies for missing. Let's talk about politics.
(Solemnization updates to come in a later post. let's talk about the hot things now)
I'm not a graduate of arts, so don't expect a politically-right post and expect one fully of spelling errors and grammer mistakes. But being a citizen, i'm not one who hides under my blanket and do "mi-ni-ma-ni" to decide who to vote.
My vote is definitely a secret. And i'll never share. But the stories that i wanna share are things related to the GE 2011.
It is an interesting sight to see people who support different parties. I'm not one who support base on passion. I believe in using my head and looking at the individual profile rather than the profile of the party. Some thoughts below after so much reading/listening/watching.
1. Empathy is not the right way for a serious topic like this.
Empathy, a positive word, has become negative (imho) when we attempt to use it in this way. If you are a boss, when you employ someone, will you consider base on empathy? If it is a position that requires alot of capability, you will definitely consider base on the working ability of the person. You may employ someone to do odd jobs based on empathy, but the board of directors never choose the CEO base on the same reason.
2. Election, not beauty pageant.
If the comparision of the beauty of the new candidates are just some gossip after meal, it is absolutely fine. Election are not choosing idols. Freaking weird to decide base on looks. If this person is capable of being your voice and serve the community, who cares whether he/she is handsome/pretty/ugly/etc. Well-groom is the only thing we need for the candidate appearance. The other factors are more important.
3. Rallies.
Unsure about the candidates at your GRC/SMC, then go for some rallies and be involved in the politics for once(unless you are in TP-GRC). It is a rare chance that so many citizens get to vote. It happens for my case when walk-over is all it happen previously. (And i wasn't up to age during the previous elections)
4. The stand-bys who mocked.
I get very irritated at people who mocked at us. If you think that a small country cutting into so many pieces for election is a joke, then i think your presence in this small country is a even bigger joke. (No offence to innocent & lovely non-citizen, it is just one idiot who pissed me off!)
...... i have more to say. but for now i'm speechless. Maybe i should also go for rallies.
.. To Be Continued.

Wedding bands
The part on wearing wedding bands or not is a very interesting topic to me. Personally, i do not wear rings when i'm at home. i generally only wear them when i'm out of home. Dun really like the ring-tie-finger feeling when i'm totally relaxed at home.
Shall i wear or removed my wedding band when i'm at home became an interesting question to me. Please dun say i'm heartless coz i haven start wearing it and i'm thinking whether to remove or not.
Look at the above picture. It is the left hand of 3 married men. See~ all 3 never wear wedding band. They each support with different reasons, but i feel ..... it is more like they are heartless? (hope they nv ever get to see this post). In fact, this makes me wonder why ppl at the 1st place wear wedding band, when they do not have plans to wear it forever. Might as well dun have wedding bands at the 1st place? Alot of ppl argue that the original wedding band no longer fit, but i have seen many ppl who get a new pair of rings during their anniversary (when they have the "cannot-fit" issue).
I have a weird belief that white-collar ppl who doesn't wear their wedding rings wanna cheat. (i really think they are gg to kill me if they see this post). Whereas if you are blue collar, i will think that it is your job that is stopping you from wearing ur ring.
One of my ger-friends once told me, it is quite an irritating issue when she cannot identify whether a man is married or not (in SG) as they generally dun wear their wedding rings. I kinda understand this point coz i feel that the presence of a wedding band is like saying "let's draw the line". Lovely, isn't it.
Now this makes me think that i should go take a look at the woman around me and see if they do wear wedding bands or not. Interesting.

My typical Saturday lunch
Saturday are the days where i wake up late, skip breakfast and go for a early lunch (aka brunch). Due to the recent purchase of sizzler vouchers, i go sizzler more often that i usually would. i love spending my time in this family restaurant where we munch the yummy salad and get enough energy for the rest of the day. Usually on such day, sizzler is the only meal i take for the day, unless i'm really hungry by dinner.
The best affordable good meal whenever i'm poor =)

Freshness Burger is My New Love
Finally i had my chance to dig into freshness burger! It was a good afternoon (though really hot) as the mafan-lunch-kaki weren't around, the "good memory" person remembered that i always wanted to try freshness burger and decided it was a good chance to do so =D
The burger I had is Tori Katsu which is having a promotion at $2.80 if you fill in some form for them. i wonder if i can fill in many many time =P
The patty is small, bread is big but the patty is damn good. The amount of tasty oil in the katsu is just nice. very very very nice. Though the burger is small (as complained by the lunch-kaki-of-the-day), i find it pretty filling for me.
The onion rings are the best onion rings i tasted so far!! I dunno how to describe how good it is, but it is so good that i think i'm gg to get baby to try it too~ i'm totally in love that i still thinking about it right now *drools*
Despite that it is really near the office, i doubt i will have another chance in eating since the lunch kaki will sure to complain about its "bo-hua-ness". But i still love it~ Shall bring baby to try at NEX branch. =D

Some (random) vain stories
I love this champagne set of nails and it last for about a week. 4 of the nails have chipped colors but it is not obvious due to the champagne shade. Love these beautiful nails~~
Anyway, i had some hard time finding nice shoes for ROM so i went leaping lizard to customise-made it. The following is a preview. Coz the finishing is not completed(e.g. pearls etc).
I choose the lace by myself so literally a mix & match by myself.
A 2.5 inches heel (not very tall but abit bo bian). I love having the back strap coz i usually had a hard time trying to have shoes with back strap.
Shall post the final pictures when i pick the shoes this saturday =D.

Steak is love.
Last friday, someone sold me sizzler vouchers. I'm a fan. Gotta admit that. coz i just love salad bar and steak. This time round, the voucher consists of more 1-for-1 which is a good thing coz usually is only the 2 of us. Thanks to sizzler, i yet to triy Padi Point even though i heard that the quality of the steak is like Hog's. And now between a fight of 1-for-1 at Padi Point or 1-for-1 at Sizzler, i got totally sold off to the latter.
In fact, despite being a steak fan, i cannot tahan eating steak like the way my colleagues does. To me, usually is a weekly affair, at most twice in that week. The max size that i can eat is 200g. A 250g steak always make me crazy. (Weight as of before cooking).
In the month of April, i have jack's coupon (free 1 set lunch for every 3 paid set lunches) which trigger my little lunch team to eat steak more frequently. Therefore i think i wun be munching on steak in sizzler, especially baby dun eat steak. =(
The prove why it is so hard to lose weight.
The yummy steak from Jack's always comes with a nicely baked potato (Bras Basah Branch). I love it!! (But in fact, i prefer Republic of steak)
lim wu hua's steak & the over-flowing sour-cream for the baked potato
Talking about food makes me hungry. I'm now waiting for the little JJ-VCD gang to meet up for dinner tonight. Refuse to start a new task coz i know i'll refused to leave office if i do so. It will be a nice time catching up tonight. I haven seen V & D for long!!!

Saturday Outing.
TGIF and April Fool Day, means it is definitely not a good day to work. I keep thinking how to fool ppl today.. haha
Anyway, I notice that i blog very little after i started working. Days are no long spent happily shopping, ktv-ing, watching movie etc. In comparison, i post 38 post in Dec 2006, and last month only 9. This post, in fact is the 21st post of the year. Total dissappointment in myself. I conclude that it is pure laziness. For example, i even feel lazy to take my hp out to snap photos on things i usually deem as interesting, or new things. I was happily telling euxil that we shall camwhore on the sat we meet but i din at all.
Well, age must have been catching up on me. I no longer have the same excitement or passion in my blood. haha~
Abit back-dated post below, but late is better than never. =P
Last Saturday i went praying + shop + high tea + shop + ktv with euxil & ah boy. It is really fun, and i enjoy spending time with them. We met outside the temple in the morning, pray then went honey-buying, paper bag shopping, light snacking at mac's, follow by high tea at rose veranda(shangri la). Actually wanna try The Regent high tea, but was fully-booked. Glad to have a seat at rose veranda. Even though food is so-so, but the key thing to high-tea is relax and enjoying the company.

Ham & Cheese Sandwich

Interesting Sorbet. Taste like milk tea to me

Rose petals~

my kakis~
After high tea, we decided to go for some foot reflexlogy such that we make our way to liang court. But at the end, we ended up in KTV, coz it is cheaper.

Original MTV!!

Koichi!!
It is very fun to have colleagues who became friends and maybe buddy in the future. Having ppl who clicks at work really will help to keep one sane. Though the 3 of us are now working at different places, but we tend to meet up, not due to "need" or "rules" but just becoz we enjoy having fun together. Looking forward to our upcoming ShowFlatTour. =D
