Signs of Aging
I have fall asleep in the cinema twice this month. Am i too tired or am i aging. The amount that i have slept these 2 weeks are like x5 of what i usually sleep.

No Suitable Solemnization Venue!!
We thought Keppel Club will be good. But there is something that is wrong. I dun see how i will be pretty when the wind is strong and the sun is glaring... My eye will be closing lor!! And what is the purpose of ppl gg to your solemnization when they can't hear what the justice of peace is speaking. Might as well ask them dun come. Just directly go makan!! But the sad thing is i love the food @ Peony Jade!! I gg to check out the Clarke Quay Branch. They have a newly renovated room~

How to upgrade on my tech skills?!?! I think i seriously sux in that. I need to learn more more more & more. How shall i go about doing it. The thought of it make me depress....

Baby's Birthday

The celebration of baby bday @ Rose Veranda today was a good choice. The nice location was a good place to discuss and talk about Wedding Theme.

We also discussed about the groomsmen & bridesmaid dressing that will make it unique =D

Met up with the 2nd photographer for ROM. We have a photographer for AD in the bridal package, but we are seriously also considering him for the AD. I simply love his pictures.

Gotta faster confirm the Wedding Venue to book his time.

Bridal Package

We finally settle on our bridal package!! I'm sorry with the bridal shops that i have email previously. Coz now i no longer need to go for the appointments.

Yesterday there was a small hoo-ha.. baby seems to wanna go taiwan for wedding photos. Yes, it is unique, it is once in a life-time. But think about it, how many of you actually took out your wedding photos/album and view it frequently? It is all for the nice display on the Wedding day. The trip to taiwan will cost us approx $4000 for everything (i added in air-tix, accomo & food). The freebies that the person give were so amazing. but the amazing things are not needs, but wants. SO $4000 does not include anything in the actual day.

Call me a cheapo, but i decided to take a SG package.

For those who complain and complain that i haven post it. Here it is. As usual, comment on this post if you are getting that present. Last year some of you post on tag board. Please understand that as comments are send to me via email, i will usually check on the comments 1st before tag board. Thus it is a disadvantage if you post on tag board.

Fruitful Trip to the expo

Yeah~ i seldom go expo coz it is far. As i mistakenly thought that bagsidentity will be gg, i was looking forward to a kate spade & coach purchase today. Well, they din went. It is tml that they will go. But doesn't mean i came back empty-handed! Haha..

I bought 1 bag organiser and 1 bag insert. Sis bought 2 bag inserts.
Different between a organiser and insert? organiser have a base, better to organiser things. Inserts are better for ppl who change bags frequently, so can move things from one bag to another!!



See~ now my bag so neat!!

Godma got me few of such organisers, and i also have one from paul & joe, but they are either too big or too small, this is perfect for me. and in nice colors~

Card-size "torch" light. Good to search for things in ur bag in dark. Everyday when i go back, i tend to search for my phone in taxi.. so this is new love. =D

Finally my earphones have a "home"


I'm amazed by myself being able to resist not buying th 120color eyeshadow palette. And no regrets. On the cab back, i think too many colors will make me crazy. and the colors just dun suit me. I'm not a matt color eye person. Loves shimmer~ =P

Skincare / Makeup / Haircare

minna-san~ do u stick to one type of skincare or one type of makeup only?

Same beauty line products
some ppl believe that using the same series of products will help to improve the effectiveness of the product. I do believe this, but in most beauty line products, usually only one of the products in the line is exceptionally good. Thus for me, i tend to use different brands of products in one skin-care session.

Testing
I'm a born tester. I like to test different type of food and i'm fine with it not being good. just make sure i dun eat it again. For vanity products, i'm also a tester. But i'm more particular about the products i use. I do research and conduct testing session. Testing sessions are generally done in weekend. Example, test a new skincare on friday night (if you have no events on sat/sun). If things turn out badly, just throw in your luxury product to treat your skin on the weekend. At most, apply for leave on monday. Well, this never happens to me.

Missing out what is great if you don't try
Since i'm a born tester, do i re-use products? Yes i do! There are some products that i love and i do re-purchase them after the end of the love with the 1st bottle. However, sometimes you must remember that we must also try new things coz technology advances, thus make-up & skincare gets better & better. If you don't try new products, you wun realise how good things improved. I have been a lover of Maybelline Angel Fit and had used 2 bottles. However, after the 2nd bottle, I went to Maybelline counter and realise that the shade i'm using is out of production. Thus, despite being sad, i decided to try L'Oreal True Match coz i always wanted. I read about the raves with the hydrating effect and i seriously got attracted due to my dry skin natural. I pick it up and i swear by it now. I use it on a daily basis. My fav foundation now. =D

Old flame or new love?
Re-use products or try new one? my suggestion is do both. Usually after a good bottle of skincare, i tend to re-buy it for 2nd usage. However, during my 2nd usage of a new bottle of skincare, i will try to buy other products to search for my next love. So usually i tend to have more than one brand/series of skincare at home.

Always make sure extra stock at home.
I'm now on shift work thus i only have certain days that i can do my shopping. Previously was normal working hours, i still can buy after 6pm. Thus i realise that have one extra stock of each thing is impt. When shall we get the extra stock? You can start to research, google or shop around, after you open the last piece of that skincare at home. If you are planning to re-purchase the same item, then it is a good time to keep an look-out for sales. I usually tend to lump my purchases of the same brands together as it will gives a good time for us to ask for sample from the beauty consultant. Example, if you want to buy Maybelline and L'Oreal products, buy it together at Ngee Ann City Watson's store. If you are a robinsons members, then buy them together at the Robinsons stores. Talk to the beauty advisors and sometimes you may even get a full-size skincare products for free~ (I got a whitening nightcream that i dun use, but i use on my leg as i tend to fall down, and leaves dark scars on my knees)

The product dun suit me. Oh Shit!
Recently i tried Missha BB cream as i heard raves over it and i never try BB cream in my life. Thus, i bought it during a trip to orchard central after its re-entry to Singapore *claps*. However, sad to say, it was a total failure for me. Apart from being too dry for me, it also provides lesser coverage than my foundation too. I'm kinda sad to look into the mirror after using the BB cream coz my face just dun look as nice as i uses True Match Foundation. Haiz.... But i never throw it away. Usually when such things happen, i will attempt to solve it. I tried using a more hydrating makeup base from beaute de kose to use with the BB cream. On top of that, i use hydarating essence before my moisturizer if i gg to use BB cream that day. This will prevent my skin to crack from dryness. And on top of that, i will use a better powder on top of my bb cream to make the overall coverage looks better.

Old Flame better than New Love
I had many attempts to try a new product and realise that the old one is better. Like Clarins loose powder is so perfect that i haven't found another one that is better. I'm currently using paul & joe coz i love the puff but the coverage is really not as good as Clarins. I'm planning on getting another loose powder on the Sephora shelf (probably Givenchy) and if still fail, i buy another Clarins while in search for my next love.

The journey to search for perfect products
I never found a perfect shampoo for my hair. Even though some was generally ok, but it wasn't anything near to great. I even had some shampoo that makes my scalp itchy and cause my scalp to bleed with constant scratching. With the combination of advance technology and skincare, there will always be a better product available in the market. However one man's meat is another man's poison. A suitable product for you may not means it will be great for me. Find a partner with opp skin type for this journey. Coz things that dun suit you will probably suit her. This journey will never end. End either with your life, or your passion to being beautiful.

I dress in all sort of colors but generally grey, black & purple. No white tops, but i wear white skirts. I try to match my clothings with accessories, but having to wear Lanyard, i usually wear my purple gold necklaces instead. Heels is my big love. Wedges are my new friends.

Park Yong Ha..... died.

I'm not a fan of korean drama. But it is always a sad thing to see a handsome guy leaving. The way he leave is a pity yet half a beauty. Sucide (beauty) by hanging from a camcorder charger cable (beauty - 50%). Call me a sadist.



i going to buy "ON AIR". I always wanted to, and this gives me a better reason to do so. At age of 33, it is a pity to see him leave.

Welcome July, and it means we are finally reaching the 2nd half of the year~

i realise i wun be any of my friend's bridesmaid if i'm 1st to get married. =( But i'll get all of them to be mine~ hahaha =D

the bonus is finally out, but the number of mths is actually lesser than last month. so what is is 0.X mth lesser? lesser is lesser. i was expecting a better bonus after most ppl raves abt what the CEO says. Sad to ask, was it a smoking session that day?

but then, today i felt abit better. only close friends/family who ask, shall be tell. and anyway, at least got increment. better than wages freeze.
