i bought this during a shopping outing with mayu~
love this bag and got at a sale.. was learning to buy better bags with better quality and the price also better.. haha
anyway, my frequent usage of it make my mum nag that i forgot abt my other bags.. haha

threw away some bags and also gave alot away.. abt more that 50 given away ba.. some are those that i no longer use, such as backpack, and some like that $5 bag that i bought from japanese summer festival.. hope that ppl receive it will like it~

i'm a bad ger

mummy is sick and i still go to school to do 3214..
the situation is pretty bad..
so bad that she couldn't walk last night, couldn't get out from the bed.

i really wish to stay beside her. (T_T)
and today, i almost feel like dropping 3214 so that i can be beside her.. i feel so horrible...

i dun wan any regrets like i previously had with regards to god-grandma..

i read RAY on one un-expected buy with mayu and miyabi.. i remember we buy pinky at that time.. maybe din buy RAY.. but that was my 1st contact with japanese magazines..

when i 1st read it, the main reason was ayana..
i watch ayana acting in some tennis show.. follow by attack no one..

then i start to notice karina and started to watch her show..

UPDATES!!

hi all, sorry for the lack of updates..

i really have no time coz i'm doing project 24/7 haiz..

steph: i'm not studying at all. project is enough to kill me..

though so.. at times when i can.. i meet up mayu (though i say so, only twice for dinner and is last min and very short while) but better than nothing right? hehe

just finish one presentation today.. things seems to be quite well...

but anyway.. i have an additional member to my big big family.. LITTLE PIGLET!!! hehe
she is super adorable.. always dun open her eyes to let me see but will peek at me.. so cute.. her arrival is one month earlier than the expected date of delivery, which increase my number of nieces from 3 to 4!! i think i'm missing her liao... coz too busy and only manage to see her twice..

the arrival of the little piglet makes me look at life differently.. Babies(literally human beings) come to the world with nothing.. but why we grow up with so many worries, troubles, sadness and disappointment.. i start to realise that if we are born with nothing, we will not die even if now we have nothing.. sometimes having nothing is better.. coz we can start afresh.. like a clean white board..

so all my dear friends, clean your white board now.. some word/drawing may be written using permanent markers but we will still be able to clean it eventually.. the most impt thing is to start cleaning now..

suai semester

this semester seems to be a bad sem from me..

from the start of this sem, many bad things have been happening to me

1) 1st bad fall on the stair..
the edge of the stairs hit on my leg causing a bad blue-black that recover only abt 2 weeks later
2) car accident, same day as the fall (read previous post for details)

3) fell from stairs (last night)
fell from the road from arts canteen till COM1 building.. the fall is pretty bad that it sprain my leg and i almost couldn't walk.. but manage to pick myself up in the end..
now it still hurts but better liao..

in the end, my bf ask if i wanna go pray pray.. coz apart from all these, he suspect that i'm getting depression from doing 3214 project...

one week 7 days

i cry on 6 of the days.. how good is such life~

stressless~ stressful~

so fun meeting for kkg's birthday.. and also a farewell-dinner for miyabi-chan (going hokkaido *envy*) regret not hugging her last night in case i dun get to hug her before she leave sg..

dinner @ sushi-tei is yummy~ dai-dai-roll is delicious!!

meeting them reminds me of nice nice life i once had before 3214 enter my life...
not that stress liao.. (^_^)

a midnight chat @ tp makes me happy even though i was abit sleepy

system proposal

finally settle down and it is time to code..

the presentation venue was super cold and the pre-working of it overnight @ S16 was a super tiring one.. after the presentation, project discussion was called off so that we can rest..
but poor sf and dap still have lesson after that...

finally i manage to complete the historical write-up and can pass to junkai
this friday is the dateline and i wonder how is the work.. so sorry that he is doing with 3 ppl who are struggling @ CS3214

briefly mention some events below:

wee kek's bday..

the 5 of us, me, sf, dap, kim and pat bought a cake for my advisor for his bday as he is really a big help to us.. THANK YOU!! and HAPPY BIRTHDAY (it was on monday).. i think the 5 of us really like him alot.. coz he really stay back with us to help us despite that he has his own homework to do.. and it was his bday.. (T_T)

overnight stay +++ presentation

this one was really a horrible one, coz hands and brains cannot rest.. abt 6,7am, sf and me left (one after another) to go back and change.. she need to take off contacts and went specs, and i need to change for the presentation.. the rain came at the wrong time.. i panic when i couldn't get a cab back to sch.. thank you mr sim and my dear er ge who offered to help (to drive me to sch).. eventually i still make in to reach half an hour before.. despite of the super-traffic-jam..

the presentation was not really smooth.. and dap cry (T_T) poor thing.. she blames herself for not getting the key point.. but it wasn't as bad as what she thinks.. i really like MY team-mates.. staying overnight to fight through the presentation was never an easy chore.. minna-san~ ganbatte ne~ yukifumi-chan ganabtte ne~

Cannot control tears..

ST2131 lecturer say that sem1 and sem2 ST2131 is very different
Sem1 is much tougher... my heart sank..
it was not like i dun wanna take it last sem.. do i have a choice.. do i?
it's exam clash with database.. i wan to take but i can't..

CS3214 is making me crazy.. i started to be unable to control my stress nor my emotions..
i sux big.. and i contribute nothing.. yet i'm stress.. i just sux..

this may not be my last semester

the original plan: complete 20MCs and then find a job by the start of next year

probably new plan: drop 2 modules by 1oct and then take them in the following semester.

This is because CS3214 is hectic.. i use almost everyday of my week to rush for it..
my lectures, which are the super tough ones, i have either skip or slept through due to the tiredness.. anyone can tell me how..

i dedicate a label specially for it.. haha

today wee kek (our advisor) told us not to scold the module if we have a blog..
of coz i told him.. "erm.. hahaha"..

everyone in computing will know that go google and search for CS3214, and you will find tons of grumble and grumbles..
yes, of coz.. today i realise another reason.. a system which usually take more than 40 weeks to complete in real-life is something that now we had to use 13 weeks (including understanding what the users wants)... GROSS..

my group, despite being the "STRONGEST" team... is hitting the rocks..

yes, class diagrams not out, sequence diagram not out, workflow messy, use case diagram gross.. security module not out... web design not out.. actually i should say NOTHING IS READY YET!!
and who the heck in real world love netbeans? definitely the lazy fool who like generated code.. YUCKS..
i cannot understand why entity generate database but not the other way round..

and now i'm trying to get the workflow into softcopies.. i wonder if i need to go till morning coz i use an hour per module and there is 9 modules to do
[Note: modules here refer to sections of systems]
*shuhan, how many modules did u previously did? out of how many modules?

my advisor say to do 7 modules out of 10 modules is a B+ and below.. and B+ is provided everything is terrific..
finishing 10 modules is not an A.. an A is to finish 10 modules + the finance module (yucks)

then my advisor told us that... with our heavy workload of other module(CS3234, CS2104, ST2131), he thinks that we cannot even finish 5 modules.. (T_T) he ask if we are trying to commit suicide.. (T_T) haiz.. i can understand why he say that.. but i.... but yet, i agree with sf that we wanna avoid the 3k+ school fees too..

now i wish i knew more ppl from SIA and ppl who are pilots.. coz my business logic for commercial airlines sux and i cannot figure out some business concepts..
one of my teammates ended up had to keep calling some ppl to check out on the business concept of some company (cannot mention), which is in the airline industry..

btw, i heard that such project can be sold in the market..

no wonder everyone(who took b4 CS3214) on friday wish us good luck.. but luck itself is not enough.. so i'm trying to motivate.. motivation..

1st time i have experience overnight in school in week 2.. haiz..
usually is for week 10 or 11 then such things will happen..

i know i won't die.. though some ppl think we'll.. DIE in terms of really die.. especially when kim keep seeing "those things" in old SOC and new COM1.. pray that the 7th month end earlier..
it is super eerie when you realise that they are looking at you during the whole night and at some time it is not one or two but many..

pray hard for me k? if you still wanna see me alive.. now back to my workflow chart..

unlucky continues...

tuesday i had just posted up some unlucky thing that happen to be like almost kena knock by a car, yesterday things became worse

on the way to bishan mrt to take a lift from my friend to school, i fell on the stairs. the edge of the stairs badly injured my left leg that walking was abit of problem now (just abit)

then in school, while my friend was sending me to law link (where COM1 is located), we had a car accident. a SMRT taxi knock into us, at my side, causing the door of the passenger seat (where i'm sitting) to have a bad dent. Pershaps out of human reaction, my friend turn right and knock into the edge of A2. eventually, it cause a super big jam there. it was at the junction where A1 turn left after central library bus-stop. As a result, everyone from A2 has to alight, and the drivers all alighted to take note of the details of the accident.

the only lucky thing was probably no injury. both of my friend and i have shock, but we do not seems to be hurt. afterall, the morning fall make me being unable to differentiate which pain is from which accident.

the car has to go for repairs, and according to my friend, it'll take a month before he can collect it.

actually i'm pretty sorry towards my friend as if he din send me to sch, such things may not happen.. now he probably has to pay alot for the repairs and compensation to the SMRT taxi and the NUS bus service..

last but not least, the reason why i did not mention my friend's name here is becoz he may not wan ppl to know of his accident. so allow me to keep it as a secret.

yuck~!! this is a horrible week!!

i have so many crappy thing that happen to me that i dun even wanna mention the small ones..

i just explain the most irritating or disgusting

1) a stupid lizard drop on my breast...
you can never imagine how gross i felt even after "he" ran away immediately after it fell on me.. i gave a loud scream and it went into my house instead..
i swear hard that i'm going to kill all lizard on earth..
and i am so glad that i wasn't wearing a low-cut and even had a cardigan on..
i throw my cardigan out of me immediately after locking the door

2) a stupid woman almost knock me with her honda car
do u all know that there is a zebra crossing @ ngee ann city @ level 2 where the taxi stand is? yes.. i was crossing that and there is this woman who drop her passenger off and then drive off without looking that there are ppl crossing at the zebra crossing.. i feel like slapping her.. look at the side mirror so hard but dun look in front, she almost bang into me.. and she din coz i escape... i almost wanna cry.. coz the car was just less than an inch away from me..

3) the dream of 5 ppl burst into 7.. ask me for details ba.. coz cannot type here..

new semester~

the past 2 weeks i have been busy with CS3214 workshop.. or i should say i slack around it.. all of us (the 5 of us) have no mood in it.. (T_T)

then daphne has been influence by me to watch nana anime and she is addicted.. bwhahaha.. i love it too.. have been watching it and the following show

4) Sushi Oji [on the way to my computer now]

then daphne lent me shutter and i finish watching too.. woo...

upcoming:

a start of a new semester but week 1 have to discuss project on my free-day liao.. sian..
the lecturer even say we have to get mahjong paper to draw use-case diagram.. haha
then CS3214 make everyone panic and the lecturer say that no matter how early you start the project etc etc.. you can't avoid looking at sunrise and sunset @ NUS [means alot of overnight in sch], afterall, the sch network is better..

the new SOC campus called COM1 is @ law link and i dun like the fact that no reception @ B1 and the wireless internet sux.. so that's how's law's wireless like in the past huh...

enough of updates.. coz i'm rushing with my battery, which is going to be flat soon.. and gonna rush out for a movie.. din manage to catch it on national day @ i actually wish for.. hehe

Para Para

for those of you who know me well.. you would know that i play para para during my poly times..

it was a game that chongkai taught me.. and it was also how i know aaron.. who always say i'm his daughter though he is younger than me.. and patrick(chua) also learn at the same time as me..

nowadays even when i play, it was no longer the song that i 1st learn.. but yesterday, i found the machine that i use to play... found at suntec [i used to play @ PS]

Songs like "Go Hot"(H.O.T), "Sara"(BoA) and "We are the Future" are songs that i 1st learn and i love them.. so happy to be able to play again =)

dear dear no birthday

there wasn't a big celebration.. i got him a pair of specs for his bday as i really think his original one is freaky old.. plus delphine says that the old specs is giving him some reflections images.. This is obviously true when he says that everything look so clear after he wear the new specs
[my mama even joke that now he can see clearer, he can choose another gf T_T ]
then he wanted to eat food that i cook then we go out.. i bought a SOS(Strawberry on Shortcake) and cook a couple of dishes:

butter salmon
cold dish [prawn and crab]
mash potato
fritta (sp?)[italian egg]
omelette fried rice
sambal chicken
mushroom, brocoli, potato soup
lemonade (for drinking)

the day ended simple..

game day with dear dear's friend

though that i know almost everyone but i still consider them as his friends than mine.. except for shuhan... we had a game at lippo center. FQ game... a game that makes u think alot abt money.. and investments.. and insurance... yanyan can consider going to play.. i think u will like it.. i heard that if you play the game outside it would cost from 70 bucks to 100++ bucks per game, and the set of game cost approx 300.. so it is somehow nice to play it free..

then dinner @ sakae sushi where we found out that some branches serve vegetarian food.. i would say vegetarian sushi is yummy... coz the rice part is replace with tofu.. and the tofu is the type i love (o^_^o)

lingzhi's bday

a simple dinner along with shuhan at harbourfront.. she may be going canada.. and i hope she do so.. hehe..

bday celebration with kkg etc

had dinner @ wakaru de pasta.. it was a shop that i notice when 1 1st step into central.. i mean that 1st restaurant.. i told myself that i'll be back to try that one day.. coz that day i dun really feel like eating that and ended up eating marutama ramen (highly recommended too)

so happy that the rest like that too.. esp suchun, who even wanted the receipt so that she knows what to order the next time she come (i was the one who order everything that day)

the day ended with me buying a bag i love!! o(^_^)o

i sign up for this card on the day that i meet up with dear dear poly's friends coz we ate at this place where a neborian can have discount and that neborian have to be below 25 years old.. so i was the only one eligible for it.. this membership allows me to buy cathay ticket @ $6(weekday) or $8(weekend) which means to safe abt $1.5 per ticket. which is a good deal for me and dear dear who always watch movies.. and now on top of the e2max card, i have nebo card.. so can earn pts to redeem movie tickets or popcorn etc using e2max card.. and cheap movie using nebo card..

tired day

saturday was really a half horrible day for me..
the only horrible thing was probably the falling down..
but the part make me feels horrible coz very painful and my leg was even bleeding (T_T)

then i went to clarke quay for marutama ramen with dear dear
follow by making specs @ admiralty
then have dinner and movies with his poly friends, whose names i can't remember
but they are pretty nice ppl..

then dear stay over after sending me back coz it was pretty late and he would have to spent more than 20 bucks on midnight cabby home..
so mama, dear and i drank red wine and talk before he sleep in the extra room in my house

super tired..

tsubasa no oreta tenshitachi

is probably the best jdorama that i ever watch..
i feel that season 1 is better
though i only watch 2 episode of season 1, and all 4 episode of season 2

and nakashima mika's RESISTANCE really make me cried hard.. (T_T)

in episode 2 of seaosn 1, there is maki(nobuta), her story make me cry pretty hard especially the part when she dress up and walk out her house to see the light..

i heard that these story are based on true story.. honto ni desuka?

hana kimi - nihon no~

i finally watch the 1st episode of hana kimi.. which is now broadcasting in Japan..
though i definitely like that japan version better than tw.. but then i am quite sad abt 3 things

1) minami sux...
i love minami senpai in the manga.. kakkoi na~~ but the jp version one is absolutely not handsome.. and really sux.. (in my opinion) where is my minami senpai?? (T_T)
2) sano and nakamura started the dorama with a bad relationship..
i hate that.. hate that hate that.. (T_T)
3) kimura ryo looks abit weird in the show..
i only see him b4 in two show.. forgot abt the 2nd, but 1st is moonlight jelly fish..
which is superb nice and i should say i think he look not bad (or abit kakkoi).. demo, in this show, his hair style erm.. reminds me of arashi's ohno satoshi.. haiz..

an old monday

a old feeling not like before..

a seed

i suddenly feel that every kid is like a seed.. maybe becoz of watching a show that day..

a kid is like a seed and u never know what he/she will turn out to be after growing up. But they need the right environment that will make them grow up to be strong (physically and mentally). Thus if they grow in the right[good] environment, they will be strong enough to withstand harsh environment in the future. on the other hand, if the starting environment sux, it is not easy(though possible) for the plant to improve on its condition in the future

commencement is so.....

... TOUCHING!!

i'm NOT exaggerating k!! i went to liyan's commencement and i wonder if i would feel as touching next year.. coz it really felt like all urs sufferings pay off.. (T_T)

then i was smsing dear dear:

sounds scary i think.. coz it make me wonder if i can graduate next year.. haha..

anyway, there is lots of pictures to come, only if liyan send me.. coz all is in her digital cam.. This reminds me that i insist to my DD that next year i wanna get a digital cam before commencement. A digital cam that is officially mine.

a few things that i learn from commencement:

1) all robe carrier has to be deposited at the "front of house"
yan and i was thinking that depositing was a trouble coz after that u have to queue to get it back, so her mum hold for her during the commencement. and within mins after seated, one lady came and told yan's mum that she cannot bring the carrier in, so i had to bring deposit it.

2) arrange to meet your friends earlier for photo taking
after commencement, there will be tons of ppl trying to take photo etc which make things a super mess. It is (instead) easier to take photo before the commencement. Some nice place will be the NUS musuem located in UCC. so i decided that i had to arrange an earlier meeting next year to take photos with DD, sf, dap, kim as i think it is a lovely thing to have 5 ppl taking a photo in their robe and the 5 ppl suffer together in the hands of 3214.. haha

3) pre-arrange transportation
we waited for some time before we decided to take bus 96 to clementi to take cab back coz it was super difficult to take cab from UCC (as there were many ppl with same intentions) and then the cab centre is also busy (since many ppl 'll also call them) so advance booking is generally safer (in my opinion)

best of all, i learn how to wear the robe and that safety pin is very impt..

at the end of the commencement, i suddenly think of my 2nd sis-in-law who is afraid of balloons as tons (i suspect there is 1 k) of balloon drop from the ceiling as many ppl were busy bursting it. It sounds like horrible fireworks.

i really thank yan for inviting me to her commencement as it was super interesting, touching as well as a very nice feeling to witness your best friend going to the next phrase of her life. And also yan's parents who were super-duper nice ppl. i really like them!! Thank for the dinner treat too!! (o^_^o)

abit stupid

recently i think my brain is abit dumb.. dunno why but like keep forgetting things

for example, forget to return shuhan her BTC textbook for more than 2 months.
forget to take back genes and society from kkg
forget to bring blank A4 paper to dear dear's house as promise..
forget to alight from bus..

like my brain become abit lazy and stupid..

yesterday din manage to catch transformer digital nor the normal one..
too hot popular.. sad dear dear and i settle for a japanese anime (sorry shuhan) coz there is really nothing else that we can watch (very full) but eventually the anime was not as good as i thought... abit boring at the end.. though a good twist but.. haiz.. dunno how to say.. transformer next week i hope..

saturday went to submit scholarship application form, follow by ajisen meal and then ocean thirteen.. sunday was a rot day @ jurong..

today was abit of a rot day but was preparing ingredients for the dumpling festival..

was a day to walk around..

monday i went out with shuhan for a simple shop.. bought RAY japanese version, which comes along with a freebie pouch which is super nice

tuesday was a day @ nihon mura with yan yan
the food is pretty ok, but the buffet was good that it has sashimi, quite some grilled sticks, sushi and many side dishes. student price after GST was $17.20, i think it is pretty cheap for a buffet with sashimi [kkg wan go ma?]

wednesday picked up my dad's new car with him... finally bought Yaris.. shufen like the car, and me too.. but a bit of a lady's car that i'm quite surprise daddy bought it. according to the sale engineer, this is the 5th car daddy buy from her.. approx 1 to 2 years my dad will change a new car.. what an expensive hobby.

vesak day was a day to rot @ dear dear's house... we plan to watch stand up, but the tired me fall aslp after a while coz the night before couldn't sleep well.. ate dinner @ dear dear house again and i would say his mum cooking is superb.. i'm falling in love with it..

friday went to GM house with my niece.. nothing much though.. but saturday, the 4D 1st price turn out to be GM's door number.. she won 20k.. qiqi is a real lucky star.. not the 1st time that she bring money fortune to ppl.. but why not me..

saturday had lunch with dear dear, mum, qiqi @ crystal jade.. super nice food.. was a chance for mum to see and evaluate dear dear.. LOL.. then we went to watch shrek 3 (without parents and kids) and went back my home for dinner.. dear dear bought me a pair of turtle soft-toys.. though i dun like soft-toys, but i had to admit that they are cute... a bit "da-nan-ren" dear dear insist in but the bigger size male and the smaller size female.. hahaha..

i realise recently i super-tired.. dunno issit becoz of the traveling to the west..

wednesday:
suppose to meet up with suchun but din coz our "da-xiao-jie" is sick,
so ended up rot and home and then went to meet dear dear instead..
make some sesame pudding for him, dunno if he really mean it when he say is nice

thursday:
finally met up with chun. too sudden a msg that make me rush out of my house within half and hour after i woke up. This means super fast bathe and no-make-up and even woke exactly the same clothing as what i saw her the previous time.. super-sian. Had breakfast, then went walk walk ard town and sat @ coffee bean for more chit-chat..
meeting up with suchun alone is always for the sake of chit-chatting, so no point moving ard too much either

friday:
finally met up with kkg.. it was about more that one month since we last saw each other. i still remember that the previous time was "Good Friday" coz i brought them the death note poster.. anyway, we met for lunch follow by games @ mind cafe. then steph join for awhile, before leaving to meet her friends. we ended up having dinner @ the curry flavor.. super nice curry and how i wish they have the croquette.. sian.. esplanade was too hot for us that we gave up the idea upon reaching there.. then toa payoh was also super hot. maybe becoz i wear black ba

saturday & sunday
met up with dear and the most interesting would be today's movie
Pirates of the Carribean.. super long.. almost 3 hour movie but super-funny.. i think it is pretty nice.. we got a middle seat.. the movie was super great that i strongly recommend all of you to watch. suchun, hope u enjoy the free movie~ heehee

anyway, dinner was @ crystal jade xiao long bao. dear dear dun like to eat pork, but so weird he like xiao long bao. apart from the 2 person set meal that we order, he add on a "hot-plate-xiao-long-bao" which i will nv order again. not that it is awful, but that it make till the xiao long bao have no juice.. super sian.. lucky we had the normal one 1st. but the egg with crab etc was superb..

today was a super tired day

went back to SOC to get my testimonial from aaron.. he is super nice in helping me to complete within short notice~

then met up with lingzhi to grab some lunch @ harbor front.. since quite some time before i last ate @ pastamania.. but at least today was fine.. coz there is portobello mushroom pasta.. but wasn't up to my expectation.. portobello has to go with beef (i guess) to taste good.

next we met shuhan @ serangoon mrt to go to dorothy warehouse for some formal clothing shopping for lingzhi.. each of us got sth, i got 1 belt and 1 top. then further shopping @ marina square, where i bought a top from mango.. and one from dorothy..

and finally, my make-up box from sasa!! yanyan, is the one that we saw that day.. super nice but abit small for me.. haha.. then some regular stuff from watsons after dinner and went home..

nice lingzhi offer to pei me take north-south line to marina bay then back before she change to east-west line coz i very sian abt taking train home.. but shuhan is BETTER.. hehe.. extremely-nice shuhan forgo her chance of taking east-west line back home and pei wo take north-south line to toa payoh and change to bus 8.. arigatou gozaimasu!!

i thought i was super-dead-tired but who knows after a shower.. i can talk super long on the phone and i say super alot of things that i think dear dear din even get a chance to talk.. haha.. poor thing..

one sian thing today.. the stupid SJCP cannot let me take my test on 2 june thus i have to postpone to 30 june which means i lost my chance of get $25 of refund back [pass the test before 15 june and get $25].. super-sian abt it.. but then.. since i haven been studying for it, i guess it is also a good thing coz i would have more time to prepare.. too busy for the GSS things [though seriously nothing to shop leh]

so sorry abt this coz i'm super lazy abt updating recently as most of my time were busy trying to get testimonials, sleeping, shopping and dating....

anyway, this week was a tired week..

thursday was a slack day..
i sign up for GSToffset and request for my singpass.. time to feel abit adult in SG.. but i hate that.. hime wish to be a kid forever.. haha... not a kid.. but more like wanna be young forever.. the thought of working makes me feel abit old

friday was a gathering with yan, boss, yun and jiekor..
had lunch buffet at coca.. steamboat buffet is really good @ coca... and i think i really love it.. had tons of vegetables.. yummy~ pork, beef and tofu is also nice.. hehe.. then went to kino coz they have 2 days of member 20% sale.. haha.. bought death note [the last name] offcial movie guide... but i think i need mayu or miyabi to tell me how to open a particular section.. haiz..
play @ mind cafe to kill abit of time.. i won around the world in 80 days.. haha.. [i also found out jiekor's weak point] haha..
then meet dear dear for dinner @ pepper lunch.. i seriously think i love it~ super good.. then we catch a movie at cathay "UDON" which really makes me feel like eating UDON sia... there is many familiar faces in the show that i keep saying "wow".. a japanese couple sat infront of me and at one point, i saw koizumi sensei's son, so i was telling dear and at the next moment, the japanese lady told the guy beside her "koizumi no musuko(correct sp?)" [which means koizumi's son].. the koizumi we say here is the ex-prime minister of japan..
then i took NR1 [night rider 1] home.. super fast from orchard and it stop @ bradell where i can walk in.. so more more problem for me when i need to take bus home from orchard after midnight (^_^) no need to pay expensive taxi midnight charges, but just $3 for night rider

saturday was a ikea shopping day..
had super yummy meatball where i try to stuff into dear dear's mouth [kim, sf and dap will understand that dear dun like to eat pork and beef >_< ]
chicken wings and poach salmon is good too.. as well as ikea's hotdog.. yummy!! not much of a new catalog but new sofa was available.. pretty nice.. somethings remain to be the same.. then went vivo to get my sesame pudding stuff coz PS had them sold out.. kkg!! tell me when u are back and i make some for you!!

sunday was a outing with mihail and his wife [my NUS tutors]
has lunch with them @ ichiban boshi coz nihon mura starts their lunch @ 2:30pm.. super sian.. next time then try that ba~
anyway, we order tons of sushi, yakitori, sashimi from ichiban boshi that the gigantic table that we sat at was not enough for us to put, thus we ask for an extra table (o^_^o)
should have take a picture.. too much food that the poor 3 guys had to stuff themselves..
7 of us ate $164.01 which is pretty cheap in my opinion coz it was tons and tons of food. we pay for mihail and his wife, which make the 5 of us pay 32.8 each. after paying the bill, mihail's wife was abit angry that she threaten not to go out with us again if we do not let them pay.. daphne was scared and i told her(mihail's wife) that they shall pay for our meal during the next outing (^_^) solve the problem easily..
then they drag us to anderson for chocolate fondue which make me extremely full that i din eat anymore for the day... 1 super big meal for a day is no good.. haiz..
as for shopping part, hime bought a bag from URS.Inc which dear dear wanna pay but i refused.. then he somewat gave in.. but then... he ended up paying for my esprit clothes (which was more ex... haiz) went esprit coz mihail's wife say she has the epc card and sunday was the last day for 20% sale.. a pre-GSS sale i guess.. super nice of her to ask me.. think i got the esprit face i guess.. haha

after this week, i learn that i have to get used to having someone apart from my own family to pay things for me... a meal treat and or a gift is different.. i have friends who treat me often, or friends who buy me presents... but not someone who pay for my stuff.. feel abit weird.. dear dear say i just have to get used to it, coz nothing is wrong here... hmm...

location wise for her is ok but seems like she think there is the ci smell..
so maybe we will revert to apollo centre...
then we try the chinese system too.. not bad so actually can consider to go there even if we wanna sing chinese songs coz in general cash studio is cheaper..

stress

i'm feeling pretty awful now...
it is a kind of holiday stress that i had never experience before...
super horrible..

coz holidays are suppose to be relaxing for me..
and i really dunno where the stress is from (T_T)
felt abit of meaningless in life [shit~ it is again the time of the year]
seems like this feeling will happen once every year or few year..
a feeling of meaningless in life..
like why am i doing this for? why do i live for?

a feeling that i wonder issit becoz i too free that's why i think in this way..
not too true.. coz i wasn't that free these few days..
was busy.. and i even went for a career talk that make me ponder abt work..
the career seems meaningful..

was a day @ home.. dinner was @ swa garden. some weird weird shop @ macpherson road (daphne i think is near ur house) food was suppose to be great, but it wasn't.. dessert[yam with pumpkin + gingko] was the best despise being too sweet... the vegetable was even better than the goose.. and the steam fish was great except the pinch of MSG that they have put.. (T_T)

monday:
went back to school for 2 things

1) transcript to go MHA
with thanks to miyabi, the transcript was pretty fast. i got in it less than 5 mins on-the-spot. but i press the button to get a paper and after waiting for ages, they told me that the number does not exists.. ask me to repress... (T_T)

[in between] had lunch and dear dear pass me the couple-rings that he collected from the shop on sunday!! (o^_^o)

2) sun microsystem java certified programmer course [super-boring]
the course.. sux.. smart kim din even apply for it.. we saw huijun in the course who was sitting behind me.. she ask me what i have done since holiday till now and i say shopping lor.. so paiseh to tell her that i have been dating till that day .. hehe..
anyway, shufen, daphne and i left the room twice(i think) to go canteen during the break and took a long time back.. super boring.. on top of that, they ended abt 4pm instead of the 5:30pm mention, thus we accompanied daphne whose bf is coming to fetch her @ 5.45pm.. then we plan to go munchie monkey but i knew it was close and confirm it by checking email @ lab.. super-sian.. then dear dear became sick and we decide to leave 1st.. leaving sf with dap

tuesday:

a day of shopping!! but i din buy much leh.. only one top, one moisturizer and one waterproof eye-remover.. lunch was super event-full. we went to marina square in search of a lunch buffet but cannot find.. then went to suntec for ku-shin-bo but it was close for renovation, then went kenny roger and also close for renovation. finally decided to eat at siam kitchen for buffet but buffet is for dinner.. super sian that we went to eat @ some dunno-what-shop instead.. haiz..

wednesday:

rest day!! woo~~ so happy that i finally get a good rest today.. cook yummy lunch today.. i love broccoli, mushroom, carrot and got mama to buy all that so that i can fried vege.. then cook prawn and chicken.. lunch was superb.. hehe.. i was trying to learn how to "pluck" broccoli to remove the awful parts coz hime can cook but not good at preparation..

super tired day~

"wild hog" is a super funny show.. watch it with dear dear today @ marina square.. he bought the tickets the day before and we got a couple seat.. nv sit at a couple seat before.. so cool.. dear dear say one day we can go for GV GOLD (i tink) the one that cost abt 30 per seat but super comfy (i heard).. he say just get the experience (everything must try -hime)

then had lunch and went down to orchard to look for some shopping [while typing this i realise a weird stain on my lappy screen >_< ]

after exams is a super tired thing.. did i mention in my previous blog that labor day was spent watching deathnote with mama till i fall aslp?

last day of exam fun~

finish my horrible gen bio @ abt 2:40pm and quickly rush out of the exam hall before the "last 15 mins cannot leave"

then called dear dear who came to school to accompany me and shufen to town..
poor dear dear, kena tease by shufen that he seems like got somethings nv report.. LOL.. then we had dinner(which is also my lunch and breakfast) @ ding tai feng.... dear dear "announce" to kim and dap who wasn't too shock, but all just ask when did it started.. hehe

shufen say he was too obvious (not that we are together, but that he like me) (o^_^o)

then we went ard walk walk before we head for ktv @ party world..
during the walk walk, i sign up for e-max card which will allow us to cheaper movie tickets.. but on top of that, i earn a pair of free tickets for "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End". the rest think i too lihai liao.. coz the tickets are allow to be given out only when 2 ppl sign up together at the same time, but i was the only one who sign yet i got it free from the guy.. hehe~

and also a free movie voucher~~ can watch lots of movie liao.. coz dear dear also have quite alot of GV movie "vouchers"

as for the "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End", i may consider giving it away if he start work coz the show is on a tuesday @ 6:45pm which is a time i guess he wun be able to come in time.. we shall see ba~~ [kkg, want the tickets? i'm putting you 1st on list for the free tickets. =) ]

then anyway, went party world, and shuhan and junkai also know the thing liao.. guess junkai is the only shock one.. haha.. ktv was super fun with them.. coz all siao siao and mad and junkai make us laugh till mad, then kim was crazy and daphne was possessed.... shufen also possessed.. haha.. shuhan is like a person in the audience seat, watching siao ppl..

then we had supper and coffee @ coffe club.. finally get to eat what i wanted!! yeah yeah~ that's was like abt almost 1am liao.. so we sit, chat, talk, think etc.. and crap.. then kim and sf become super tired liao.. but we drag on.. had some beer/wine etc and waited for 1st bus.. daphne left @ abt 5:20am, while the rest of us went to the bus-stop and wait for shuhan's 1st bus.. then go to the mrt and wait for 1st train.. i never knew that 1st train is so packed.. haha..

kim and sf's train is early, while mine wasn't.. so dear dear pei wo wait and send me back.. but he look so tired, then i insist he dun send me home.. so he directly take the train home instead.. haiz.. dear dear live in jurong west!! (T_T) so far~~

recently my life is abit confusing.. just praying hard that it is not a second-alex...

recently have been pretty busy with mugging that i really have no time for updates.. hehe.. minna-san gomen ne~

nowadays after mugging @ school.. i take bus home and fall aslp within mins after bathe and drying hair..

sometimes daphne take bus with me.. sometimes she have a subaru to take her home (o^_^o)

i can sense mugging in the air, but i still have one project not submitted.. dateline is tml and today i have to cheong abit.. i guess.. no doubt that alot of reading and "benkyoing" has to be done.. but just settle that ba~

recently database project result is out. highest marks is 19/20, but my group got 18/20.. though was quite ok with it.. but on the other hand also slightly dissappointed..

that day i remove a post from this blog with super thanks to "shao ye" for scaring me.. now i think i might have to rechange some name in some post to reduce problems.. how would i know that kai kai (jun kai) and "shao ye" do read my blog? in the end, some things have to be left unspoken.. super sian~

happy birthday again!! hope you really like what we planned, though everything lasted for a while, probably less than half an hour, and everyone had to rush for lesson and projects.. obviously it wasn't an easy task getting you up to level 3 from ur CS3240.. but you came suddenly, and we were a bit shock.. i had to use that gigantic poster to block your view so that the rest can light the candles..

everyone was funny.. kim posed, daphne wanna hug and kiss you.. LOL.. pat took dunno how many pictures of you, and they make you blow candles twice~

all of us remember this day.. and we even send hime to get everything done while everyone was rushing for projects.. blame daphne for your not too big slice of cake.. you can have your revenge on her bday.. as well as the candles part.. she is the one who place the candles in such position and want to you blow them off at once..

everyone wanna wish you happy birthday.. even though rendy can't make it, but we all knew she wish she was here.. blame 3240(i think).. hope the madness of kim and daphne make your day even better.. and of course aoi no hi will be your most memorable day in NUS(i think).. not to forget that when hime says to make the sky your favourite color, there is no rain, and just nice blue sky with white clouds..

i hope you like the presents, though one have to blame on kinokuniya for placing a stupid novel at the comics shelf.. but the other should be good right? hehe..

sybase sux

the stupid sybase is really a horrible software, so horrible that we have so much problem with it that we have to stay overnight in sch to finish.. imagine doing a project from friday 10am to sat 7pm w/o slp, bathe etc.. i felt so gross when going home.. yucks..

haiz.. at least finally one down.. now have to rush oral presentation before i can throw all my effort into HCI project, the flash is also giving me problem.. the music help file keep having error.. i solve it and a few days later, error again.. what the heck is the problem..!!

suai day : rain

raining heavily last night, but w/o telling me..
i went up bus 198 without knowing that it will rain. rain started after kim yoong alighted..

then i realise that i'm doom.. the bus stop that i'm going to change to bus 154 have no shelter..
pat gave me some suggestions, like taking to boon lay interchange.. no way man.. that's too far...

so i told him i'll try my luck.. alighted and wait for the rain to stop. but it never, and got heavier..
i cannot walk in the rain.. coz i have my laptop on my hand.. damn it...

after 15 mins, i gave up.. and try to get a cab.. no cab... kim (via sms) suggest that i call cab.. comfort did not pick up my call.. no cab, no comfort call but have heavy rain.. i wanted to cry liao.. then i called andrew to save me.. he said ok, and rush down from yishun.. i felt loved.. someone came to save me at no cost.. waited for abt 20mins to half an hour for him to reach.. had kim and pat's sms to support me..

finally got up the car and felt safe.. at least i know i can get home liao.. he is so nice that he even brought a windbreaker along.. then we went to the kent ridge terminal's prata house. i did not get off the car, but he did. bought mutton soup for me to drink in his car.. he say that standing in the cold weather for more than an hour will ruin my health.. i wanted to cry even more.. dunno why.. finally reach home safe. forgot to return him his windbreaker thus now my house have 2 male windbreaker liao.. alex's and andrew's...

i think i'm a lousy friend.. coz i nv thought of contacting him at all... till i have trouble... i'm evil..

weird dream

thursday night to friday morning, i had this dream that i dunno if i wish i wanna woke up..

i dream that kinki kids came to singapore..
the whole dream is weird.. coz hime was speaking in perfect japanese to koichi-sama which is impossible in real life(for the time being)

then the venue is in SOC(NUS School of Computing), and they were actually signing on dunno-what and on magazine for fans.. then i ask koichi-sama to shake hands with me.. and he agree with a smile *hime melted* then tsuyoshi-sama was sitting there very bored with a why-no-one-come kind of look on his face.. hime kept talking to koichi-sama telling him that i have a friend who like him alot and even plan to go japan to kinki kids 10th anniversary concert. koichi-sama just say "sou~"

then i ask tsuyoshi-sama to sign for me.. and i ask them if i can have another set of the stuff so that i can give my friend who plan to go for their concert (miyabi). and before they agree, tsuyoshi-sama ran away and koichi-sama gave chase.. it was so funny..

i still can remember that is shufen who told me that kinki kids is at science canteen that make me rush there.. bwhahaha..

follow by some clothes from giordano. Say that i'm lucky ba, met someone who is my friend's friend (and is working there) and offer to give me a discount (o^_^o)

then i went to get my L'oreal chop problem settled..
then spend quite some time @ kino.. bought shufen's highlighter and daphne's file, also bought a 7-day file, correction tape glue(removable), mini-pen and mini-pencil which is handphone accessories, campus eraser, and a mini-highighter.. most imptly will be the chinese version of tokyo tower.. let me read 3 times ba... once i fully remember the content, i'll buy the japanese version..

went to heeren and realise mini-bits and mini toons has closed down..(T_T) no hair accessories then.. went down to P.S. and bought 2 tops from dorothy (total 4 tops today) [original intention was to see T.S and poh kim's new stock, but now buy liao also no use.. i need to clean my you tube show and tokyo tower novel]

the next few days 'll be torturing life in sch for project... so glad that i've enjoy myself today..

last sunday went to school to do database project ard 11pm.. din expect ourselves to do tilll abt 5am++ then go home.. was so hungry in the mids of the night and had some yummy prata.. nice part of a torture.. then went home and slept till 5am before i do my short talk.. prepare my short talk and presented it this morning.. i was trying to talk like the samsung advertisement but failed coz too nervous i guess.. haha.. but overall was still fine..

tml is a day off from project etc... haven plan what to do, but wish to go for a hair wash, some shopping and end the day with database revision or a japanese drama.. of coz i wish for the latter, but the life is so cruel that i bet... i can do BOTH.... haha..

i am getting abit dependant.. like in my poly...

the last part was erm.. not exactly, but yes, someone is doing my part for me for a module.. not 1 person, but 2 ppl are doing for me.. i felt loved.. LOL.. but in return i'm helping to do small parts of it.. so dun grumble arh..

today i was starting to feel some horrible aches.. not as if it was the 1st time.. but this time was pretty horrible.. almost can't move.. the rest grumble that my bag was too heavy.. so i had ppl carrying some of my stuff.. =)

morning had 2 ppl to wake me up.. a sms and a call... haha.. though i was still late.. but still happy abt it.. the sms came at 7:20 with no effect, and the phone call at 8am. at 8am, we laughed it off that we'll be late.. since suppose to meet for breakfast at 9:20am.. i had to rush a cab.. coz today had presentation and my lunch break is at 3pm, thus breakfast is impt then.. in the end? the two of us (me and caller) was earlier than the smsER... haha

anyway, NUStyle was trying to advertise sth outside LT27 and we got freebies.. i got some maybelline products which remind me that the stupid L'oreal ger got my chop wrongly.. so i think i better go ask them for a re-chop.. need to go to ngee ann city... *hate them*

now i am trying to clear off watching engine via you tube as following mediacorp kills me and probably my money too... today called cab, thus cost me $15.70 to reach sch so make me abit broke liao.. and it was the second time this week (i mean $15.70), not to forget abt the midnight charge that morning.. waste tons of money this week on cab.. *hate it* [sorry abit no link, haha]

last thursday spent my night at my er ge's house to edit video for 3240 project.. as fun as it could be, i suffered a backache.. it was so bad that i couldn't bend at all when i brush my teeth at his place.. now is better.. but still alot of aching on my back and right leg...

last night walk all the way to kent ridge terminal to eat prata (coz i wanna eat), and ended up the shop close!! i think i freaking suai!! in my 2 years of NUS, i actually met 3 times of closure of a 24-hour prata shop!! SIAN!! though pat come back and eat again on another day of the week.. but i was so (T_T)
in the end, ate the supposingly-very-yummy-nasi-lemak, but i ended up vomit everything.. sian sian..

(o^_^o) but it is so fun hearding jun say that he like older woman and he dun understand why old man like the gers of his age... haha.. then also finish watching johnny's countdown concert 06-07.. guess i waited too long.. it would probably be nicer if i watch in jan..

SINGAPORE: Singaporeans felt two rounds of tremors in the space of two hours on Tuesday, following two earthquakes in Padang, Indonesia.

Singapore's Meteorological Services Division said the first tremors were felt at about 11.50am after an earthquake measuring 6.6 on the Richter scale struck Padang on the island of Sumatra.

The epicentre was 50 kilometres north-northeast of Padang and some 430 kilometres south-west of Singapore.

The second round of tremors occurred around 1.50pm after another earthquake, measuring 6.1 on the Richter scale, struck Padang.

The tremors were felt in many parts of Singapore.

Callers to the MediaCorp News Hotline reported tremors in the downtown city area of Beach Road, Robinson Road and Shenton Way, as well as residential areas such as Ang Mo Kio, Toa Payoh, Choa Chu Kang and Woodlands.

few interesting stuff

some interesting stuff from my BTC module abt intercultural communication..
everyone say i'm bias
coz this chapter is not tested in exam, thus i only "highlight" those related to japan.. haha..

some interesting points to note(abt japan):
1) japanese good writing style is to write with ki-sho-ten-ketsu
2) in japan, there is at least 15 ways of saying "No"
3) Pepsi-Cola's slogan "Come alive with Pepsi-Cola" is translated to "Pepsi-Cola brings your ancestors back from the grave" in Japanese
4) when presenting to japanese audiences, they would nod their heads and say nothing during the presentation. however, nodding their heads does not means that they agree, but just that they understand what you say.

some interesting points to note(general)
1) as most country take the form of hand shaking as greeting, bowing in japan, kissing cheek(s) in France and Belgium, etc etc, the MOST INTERESTING would be that KISSING LIPS IN RUSSIA.
2) In China, the normal response to an English compliment such as "Your dress looks very pretty!" is "No, no, it's very ordinary! It's cheap!", which may baffle many people from Western cultures who expect "Thank you" as a response. To Chinese, "Xie Xie" (Thank you) in this situation is likely to be seen as arrogant and strange.
3) Don't show admiration of possesions in an Arab or Latin American home as the owner will feel compelled to give you the item you have admired.
4) Physical touching in public is common among Latin Americans (more than 100 times per hour in a cafe situation)
5) In thailand, things in threes are welcomed as gift.
6) Don't buy gift for Arab women

the sad thing is din buy DeathNote VCD coz yanyan suggest to buy the DVD instead, which is not available @ HMV.. and also din get bottoms, shoes.. then was also thinking if i should by ayaka's album... see how 1st ba... 1st must get time to move the songs in the album to my mp3 player

Chinese New Year!!

Happy Happy NEW YEAR to everyone.. hehe.. last night was too excited with the hana blah blah blah then i forgot to post this.. =p

anyway, taking abt CNY a few things happen

1)
Hisham (my malay friend aka ah bang) sms me happy new year.. so sweet right? Then chongkai call me to wish me happy new year from thailand!! coz he is there due to NS.. so touching~~ hehe

2)
hoo-ha in my house that i cannot wear T-shirt on CNY.. obviously i din.. but when i was telling abt my original planned clothing, almost everyone was saying that CANNOT WEAR T-SHIRT on the 1st day.. haiz.. what kind of logic is this?? they say issit i think i am teenager or kid.. even my cousins who are younger than me dun wear T-shirt lor.. haiz haiz haiz.. that's why in the end everyone prefer what my da jie buy.. this make me recall abt my bday party, who almost everyone dun like the clothes i choose, coz though the bottom is a skirt, the top is a T-shirt.. and almost everyone say dun look like bday ger... *self-pity*

coach bag issue.. some of you may know that recently i am abit crazy abt branded stuff, including coach bag.. then i was so excited when i saw my da jie using it as new year.. never did i realise that my cousin who just finish her a level last year uses a coach bag too!! (T_T) i also want!! but it is too expensive.. it is ard 3 to 4 digits, and 3 digits are not the 100+ or 200+ lor.. haiz haiz.. *unfair* hime also like dior.. but coach is my recent favourite..
(btw, anyone know where is the coach shop in sg?)

gambling is no good for me this year.. keep losing and losing and losing~~ so sian~
better dun anyhow play liao... wanna save for the coach bag.. etc etc

bag issue.. my new year bag is very nice (my own opinion), then i realise sth special abt it, then make everyone laugh coz i only realise it when i at my grandma house and then i actually bought it in dec (but nv use b4 la).. anyway, this make me realise that shufen's taste is actually realise good.. coz it was supported by her ( i mean she support me to buy this bag).. and actually is bought with the voucher given to her, kim and daphne on my bday..

6)
hime is down with flu now~~ maybe is a good way to lose weight gain in this CNY..

P.S.: to hime, LV sux... but i dun mind having one (no fake goods.. hehe)
