The part on wearing wedding bands or not is a very interesting topic to me. Personally, i do not wear rings when i'm at home. i generally only wear them when i'm out of home. Dun really like the ring-tie-finger feeling when i'm totally relaxed at home.
Shall i wear or removed my wedding band when i'm at home became an interesting question to me. Please dun say i'm heartless coz i haven start wearing it and i'm thinking whether to remove or not.
Look at the above picture. It is the left hand of 3 married men. See~ all 3 never wear wedding band. They each support with different reasons, but i feel ..... it is more like they are heartless? (hope they nv ever get to see this post). In fact, this makes me wonder why ppl at the 1st place wear wedding band, when they do not have plans to wear it forever. Might as well dun have wedding bands at the 1st place? Alot of ppl argue that the original wedding band no longer fit, but i have seen many ppl who get a new pair of rings during their anniversary (when they have the "cannot-fit" issue).
I have a weird belief that white-collar ppl who doesn't wear their wedding rings wanna cheat. (i really think they are gg to kill me if they see this post). Whereas if you are blue collar, i will think that it is your job that is stopping you from wearing ur ring.
One of my ger-friends once told me, it is quite an irritating issue when she cannot identify whether a man is married or not (in SG) as they generally dun wear their wedding rings. I kinda understand this point coz i feel that the presence of a wedding band is like saying "let's draw the line". Lovely, isn't it.
Now this makes me think that i should go take a look at the woman around me and see if they do wear wedding bands or not. Interesting.
