the pc show - lappy event

Saturday went to PC show with yan~

actually for all who din know~ during pc show or IT fair, other places such as harvey norman or funan will mark down their prices to meet the same as the sale. so to avoid the crowd, why not go to the stores? but of coz, pc show let u to be able to compare models and price better. if u have decided what u wan, just check the pc show prices online and then hit the stores instead.

The next day morning, yan called to say having installation problem with the ms office, and i told her to restart the lappy. in the end, it hits a blue screen!! She got really panic, and same for me. i seriously hate blue screen (even if blue is my fav color). I think that they are like a fever and many reason is possible for it. i had 3 blue screens with my office lappy within 4 weeks and i really could understand the pain.


i hate this!!

so i ask her to come my house, while i get baby to come over asap. we troubleshoot for a while before calling harvey norman to complain abt that matter. Yes, hime being a bad purchaser insist on a one-to-one exchange. and surprisingly, they argee!! oh my, that was the best of the worst i think. if we had gotta from pc show, a one-to-one will be with asus and not harvey and it will be like a monday case. the lady ask us to go for one-to-one on tues and evil hime refused, complaining abt the need to work etc. anyway, as a result, the kind lady gave us a name, and ask us to go north point to change instead of the original plan of go suntec, check the problem, then go north point get the replacement.

the replacement was done pretty fast but hime told the guy if the new one have the same problem, i will get harvey to pay for my transportation fees! haha.. i think all sales ppl hates me!

luckily, after we came back, baby did the installation etc and everything seems fine. the poor liyan finally show a sign of relieve. *hugz*

the whole day ended with abit of tired + abit of sense of achievement + abit of happiness. I'm glad that baby is willing to do all these stuff for my friends (regardless of miya or yan) and is nv complaining abt it~ thanks baby~ u are really a GEM. (^3

BUT!! THAT IS NOT THE END!!

Monday morning, hime work up with yan's sms that the battery is spolit!! what the heck with asus?! why they cannot provide a proper one? Then i contacted the ppl in charge and they argeed with a one-to-one exchange. Actually we are kinda sick of it. we have finish setting up the lappy and can't we just change the battery? however, asus batt and lappy have a serial no to tie to each other so they have to change the whole set. hime talk to the asus guy and they cfm that we can go north point harvey norman to change, BUT, instead of a new lappy, we realise (only when we reached) that they are giving me the blue-screen lappy (but repaired). No way we are getting that, so we ask for a new one. And the reply, no stock. pink color only. NO WAY MAN! then the asus guy spoke to me that the next day, harvey norman will deliver to yan's place.

hey excuse me, if that's the case, then dun ask us come down la~

so i demand that today must have it. no way we are leaving w/o one. finally, after alot of phone fights, the asus guy went funan and took a new piece for us. frankly speaking, if not then just ask us go another branch to pick up la~ funan is like beside my work place only LOR!!

but then, also have to thank the ppl involved coz i know it is not their fault in this matter. however, on the other hand, in terms of customer services, i think much better way can be used to resolve. baby is working on the lappy while i typing this (tues night). ASUS, pray hard that nth goes wrong, or i'm gg to ask for a EXCHANGE FOR LAPTOP OF ANOTHER BRAND!!

i guess i'm still a lenovo supporter~

P.S.: the blue screen is a RAM problem
