Happy Birthday Yun!!

It was a wonderful 13 Nov coz we seldom have the chance to celebrate each other actual day bday since usually it will be planned with activities~ Finally, after like so many years, this time we celebrating Yun's bday on her actual day!! =D

It wasn't that of a lucky day for us. First we wanted to play archery @ suntec but the shop seems like it closed down... So we walk to Marina Square to have a few rounds of pool. God of pool is not with me, i seem to be the main loser (rank 4).

After pool, we had a tricky thing. I have told max 2 (boss + pin) that we shall get yun a cake since it is her actual day and i actually suggested ktv since it is the easiest way to settle the cake. but due to the archery thingy, i had problem preparing the cake before hand so we decided to play by the ear. Thus i kept asking what's the next after dinner coz i dun really wanna bring a cake into dining area (least suprise effect). We decided on mind's cafe @ funan.

We walk around (before dinner) and went to see cosplay @ suntec city before dinner. Stay tune for cosplay pics on next post, though few. There is this woman whose cosplay freaking shock me but ya i couldn't write it out in words.. Just really shocked.

We had dinner @ Crystal Jade la mian, where my noodles are freaking oily. Probably it is just not my day. =( After dinner, i asked the max 2 if we shall call mind's cafe 1st before gg over but they insist "no need". Best, upon reaching funan mind's cafe, there was a closed door party~ In the end, after some consideration + the rain, we went to the one @ selegie instead. And yep, challenging cake event soon..

When we alight from boss car @ Selegie, Pin asked if he should come along so i have chance to prepare cake, and i argeed. In mind's cafe, i realise that they do not have in house cake which means i definitely have to get it from outside. SMS boss to wait for me, while i gave a nonsense reason to excuse myself from the place while pin accompnanied yun~

While waiting for boss @ lvl 1 of mind's, i call Betsy (Thanks dear) to ask about the choices of cake we can have around that area. Boss & i went around Pomo, and finally took the Marble Cheesecake from tcc. The sale person is kinda fierce. But well... cake is what we want, not him..

Finally back to mind's cafe, i suggest that boss go in first while i try to pass the cake the to ppl in mind's cafe. And i succeeded by hinting the guy to come out, then pass him the cake and go in. I was happy!! Thus i return to the table with a happy face and boss started his acting skills.

STUPID BOSS!!! Please lah... lias properly first. Pin say i got super lousy acting skills at the end of the whole surprise.

Well, anyway, when max 5 play game, we are super crazy.. so we almost forgot about the cake, and we insists in playing another game to bring in the cake surprise. AND YES, it is RUIN!! =_= (seems like a ruin curse for us)

And hor and hor, the mind's cafe person is so good that all the 4 of us din notice he was holding a cake and staying behind yun =P

During my last genting trip, baby & I went to Ripley Believe it or not! Some were so scary that the thought of it scares me..

Marutama Ramen Again

I dunno how to express my love for this. It is not that extremely tasty, but it just have alot of my memories. I tend to go and eat it alone when i'm freaking upset. It helps to make me happy abit.

Though i seriously love Pork base rather than Chicken base, i kinda can accept the marutama ramen base. Perhaps with the garlic, it taste pretty comforting (rather than yummy).

Very very tasty imho.... bad for ppl like baby who hates fatty meat. But yeah~ i love.

New Fan in office

I wonder how many of you have a fan in office coz i have one due to super hot weather in singapore and the fact that we love walking to super far places to eat coz we generally sit in office the whole day. And yeah~ welcome my new fan. After my dumb old one "ate" my hair. This one is steady and in cool black. <3333

Pulping Day

About last week, our office has some pulping things and thus everyone is trying to clear their documents. It is kinda amazing for me since i haven been working for long, i generally do not have as many documents as the rest have. Yup, as a result, i was trying to help out with the pulping and all the administration stuff since my system was like in good state last week.

Kinda crazy... If this is the amount for my little ofc of little ppl, i cannot imagine how much from the whole building. The person who came to collect commented "so little". =_=

My yasashii boss came to help me incase i break my nails and start screaming, but it kinda make me bored soon since i dun have much to do for that day...

At the end of the day, i found that our company does print season greeting cards..





It kinda amused me but ya i wasn't any interested in keeping it, so i threw it away in the dustbin though the big boss gave it to me~ Hope he will nv know it..

Back from my little R&R

Actually not really R & R. Coz was there to celebrate my mum's birthday.
There was actually some hiccups during the check-in, and you will probably know if you follow my tweet.

The check-in time was 3pm, but we reached early at about 2:30pm. so i went to queue to check-in but they say room not ready yet and they will call me when it is ready. Looking back at the queue, i asked the lady if i have to queue again before to pick up my key later, she replied yes. I was kinda pissed, coz no reason why i should queue to super long queue twice. I got mad, and i went to conceige to ask who i can speak to. The person advise to talk to duty manager, so i went back and ask for the duty manager. Finally he advised that i can go to another counter to pick my key at tower one.

It was a long wait and the lobby was crowded. No seats and with luggage & food, we have no where to go. Thus, i went to tower one twice to check out on the room.
1st time, the lady was very helpful but there is no way she can get a room coz the housekeeping is not done. I commented that i hope i don't need to wait till 4pm since the check-in time is 3pm, she immediately offer me a late check-out at 2pm. Bravo~
2nd time, a gentleman serve me after his boss came out to help. He took a long time but he could gave me a room. Happy that waiting is no longer need, i leap back to where my mum & baby were at and told them we have a room at level 45!!

Went up to level 45, open the door and i almost cried. The room is so freaking small!! and they say is 60sqm?!?! Incase you don't know, i book the biggest of the normal room which cost me like ~$500 per night. What will happen if we have book the smaller room? Thinking that the counter have made a mistake, i went back to the lobby (while mum & baby waited in the room) and request to check my room type. To my amaze, they say it IS a horizon grand. I went back blankly to the room feeling super disappointed. My brother & sister & family is coming over. And this room is freaking small!! Plus it is definitely not 60sqm!!

Feeling upset in the room, i feel that i need to complain. I got so mad that i went down, walk back to tower one (our room was at tower three) and started to explain my unhappiness. No bathtub, room freaking small etc etc. The lady listen patiently then spoke to another lady inside. Finally after some complains & complains, they decided to reply to my complains by giving me a complimentary upgrade to orchid suite.

The orchid suite is at level 7 and i was a bit upset. will mum mind? coz she really like higher level. My brother & family saw me at the counter, waited, and we decide to checkout the room before bringing my mum over from the other room.

And guess what. We open the door to see >>



Bravo~~ Can't wait and we drop our things to go the other room to bring my mum over!!
