My New (Sinful) Favorite



I'm now eating this in office while writing this post. Sinfully good!!

Today Mr Lew suggested to go MSQ for lunch, so went with him & wu hua. On the way there, i was thinking of a way to make our life happier by buying something back from Hershey's. But yeah.. chocolate doesn't really make me that happy now, and my dark choc kaki is nt ard..

On the way to Hershey (which is also on the way back to office), i saw Garrett Popcorn and decided that i should buy!! There are quite a few flavors and i think is costly!! But as u know my favorite word is "TRY", so i decided to buy!!

I bought Cheese Corn & Macademia Caramel Crisps!! Oh crazy man!! It is freaking good. And i'm not a lover of caramel, yet i find it so yummy!! The 3 of us started snacking abit on the way back =P

Super tired weekend.

I wonder how did the weekend gave me a damn bad headache this morning and a constant running nose. My schedule below

Saturday

12:00am - 04:30am: Play game, watching drama
04:30am - 11:00am: Sleep
11:00am - 02:00pm: Play game, prepare to meet bf for late lunch
02:00pm - 04:30pm: Late lunch @ Paradise Dynasty
04:30pm - 08:30pm: Shopping for birthday presents
08:30pm - 10:30pm: Dinner @ Thomson that Chix Rice



Shopping really makes one happy, but will be better if i not spending my own money. Bought presents for the kids coz i owe emma bday pressie & the next day is Cheryl & Cayden's bday party. It is really tough to shop for the little ones. I wish i was inform like way earlier about the party so i have more time to shop. But anyway i realise, guys sux @ shopping.. can't walk much and always wanna rest. it is their nature i guess.



Paradise Dynasty is my new hot favorite place to go. I tried the sampler xiao long bao with the 8 flavors to decide which is my favorite (One missing in the pic coz i get too excited and ate it). We are suppose to eat in the following order.

1. Original > taste pretty good. Comparable with the other xiao long bao in sg
2. Garlic > my favorite. a good pick if you love shallots & garlic in your ramen.
3. Ginseng > can taste the bitterness of the ginseng but not too bitter.
4. Foie Gras > Bravo~ no liverish taste but can feel abit of the foie gras
5. Black Truffle > Very very mild truffle taste.
6. Cheese > not cheesey... very subtle taste
7. Crab Roe > i dislike this.. the pork & crab roe taste doesn't really blend.
8. Szechuan Spicy > Spice lover me doesn't find it special at all.

Since i know i will sure to go again, i will choose Garlic, Foie Gras, Black Truffle during my next visit. We ordered other dishes such as Radish Pastry (FREAKING GOOD) and Shallot Pancake (VERY GOOD). Even the la mian is bravo. Apart from the Crab Roe xlb which was the main disappointment, i think the other food just taste freaking good. <3 I guess i just love all the Paradise Group including Paradise Inn.

Birthday Party

The birthday party was interesting. There was a boy (Cheryl's friend) who sang very very well. Kids of 8 year old are very health-concious. They refused to eat cakes and keep insisting that they are on diet though they grumble that they are hungry. I wonder what do kids of today eat since they dun take cake, sweet, chocz.. When i was 8 years old, i probably just love all the sinful food.

Emo Tweets

Some of you may have saw my tweets and find me emo-ing. I was filled with too much envy that i turn green and think that my so-called normal path is wrong wrong wrong..

People around me are all over the world studying or working (Australia, Japan, America, Korea, London, Germany), but i feel so stucked to the land of Singapore. I wish i had move my butt out to see the world and know more ppl.

Which is the right way out? I know there is no definite answer and food on the other plate always looks like it taste better. I seem to be repeating my life day by day with nothing special and no major difference between the days. Weekday work, weekend gather. Then repeat again. At times i get so bored with my life that keep my mind thinking about nonsense, including whether what i'm doing now is right.

I have to admit one fact. I probably have no guts to venture out of Singapore alone. And now worse, i probably have one more excuse to not move my butt out, thus i know i will never make it.

Currently 2 years 10 months, i will be reaching my 3-year anni in my 1st company starting next year. The 3 years probably brain-washed me. I know what i want when i first came to the company. But now, what i want is blurred. i just lived day by day.

So someone tell me what is happiness. I no longer have confidence in telling ppl that the route i walking now is right and i have no regrets for it. And in fact, the regrets is more that what you can imagine.

Checklist for November

I have 9 days leave to clear by end of the year. Just taken 0.5d on tuesday and i wondering where to take next.

Actually i know i have alot alot to do. See 2.5mth checklist. But dunno why i rather game game & game...

I'm starting to lose myself... maybe...

Checklist.

1. Baby Cayden's blanket.
Kill me!! His bday is coming!! in approx 0.5mth time!! But knitting for abt 1-2 rows or so, i get bored and just feel like sleeping. This is what happen recently on a recent sunday where i decided stay at home and knit but ended up sleeping.. zZZz..

2. Old / New Dramas >> All must watch!!
based on the previous checklist, i have managed to clear 6 dramas. Seems a very slow speed for a drama-fanatic like me. The list to clear as follows

Project Singa

Funan Digitalife Mall was having a Project Singa Exhibition from 12 to 15 Nov. Prior to that, you may have read my very old post that there are some Singa beside the MICA building. So now, it feels like they just become smaller and flood to Funan~

Some drawing were in progress when we first saw it on 12 Nov. Then one 15 Nov, some were done.

Genting Little Shopping

I started to think that i should never go europe till i have tons of $$. This is because one impt thing that i look forward to travelling is shopping. Shop till i drop. Shopping in europe seems expensive and not so affordable for me.. hmm..

Anyway, during my last trip in Genting, obviously i did shop!! Some items were paid by baby some i bought it =D
