My comfort food

One night last week, can't remember when, but i went to toa payoh to look for food.
I generally dun really take dinner on weekdays to help myself get into earlier sleep as well as for the sake of my weak stomach.

But that particular night, i was searching for food in toa payoh and most of the shops no longer have food. And i do not want fast food. So i went swensens.



I'm not a seafood-craz, but i'm a black-pepper-craz.

It is pretty boring to eat pasta only, so i order ..



..Deep fried mushroom. I bet it is shitake. As i grow older, i tend to not appreciate fried food. i ended up tearing the crust and eating the inner(mushroom) only. Fake a healthy self i think.

And as i hate eating alone.. i had WGM as companion.

It was properly cold in swensens, or cold due to a after rain. i remembered that i feel exceptionally lonely that night. =(

Replacement for Clorets

Sorry for missing for a week. trying hard to work pick up blogging at home but i'm really lazy. generally i prefer blogging within the 10 mins right after everyone go for lunch & while waiting for the guys to move their butt. In general, lim wu hua usually takes the longest time (yes, since from lvl 3 till now, habit no change)

Anyway, the cloret optimints that i used to take as a sugar-free mint sweet for my motion-sickness is no longer in production. Seriously do not know why they do so as there is definitely a market for it. At least another 3 ppl around me who consume that on a regular basis. Interesting hor? But with the discontinuation of the mint, i had trouble getting an alternative and try a few different type but dun like it.

That day my boss told me about Asahi Mint. He says it is similar to the cloret optimints. Abt 2 days after he told me, he happen to be back to the place where he saw it. So i asked for one to try =D Anyway, it is quite good and i shall declare it as the new member as the essentials items in my bags.

Toggi - Dark or Milk?

I'm a fan of Toggi. I claim that it is a superb version of kit-kat and it is made in switerland. So last friday, when i saw this at mediya, i know i should buy since i'm a lover of both Toggi & Dark Chocolate.

BUt sad to say, the original still taste better. The dark one is too sweet. haiz...

Very busy Weekend.

The Agenda.

Sat:
- Lunch with mum before shoping
- Shop with mum for her clothes to wear on my Solemnization
- Meet up with sis to get dad's white shirt for his suit, along with a belt
- Get dad a red tie to wear for Solemnization
- meet baby for shopping >> dinner >> shopping (IT show?)

Sun:
- Meet baby to continue shopping
- A dim sum high-tea as my late lunch cum early dinner =D
- Meet-up w alex.

Things that i needa shop badly.
- baby's white shirt
- bra for the gown (euxil thinks it is ok nt to wear, which i may if i can't get a suitable)
- high heels for the wedding
- dad's red tie
- paper bags for the little wedding favors for solemnization that we ordered =D

The agenda din go well in the end coz baby was too tired from his out-field thus he sleep sleep sleep like a pig zzZZzz..
But well, we still manage to settle most of the things.

Had a good lunch with mum before shopping coz i know if i ask her shop with an empty or half-empty stomach, we sure have alot of issue. But if too food, she will wanna go home & sleep.



Had lunch @ sushi tei and ate beef shabu shabu. The beef is tender but is slightly ex to me. abt 4 pieces of meat for $10. Yes, the above plate is $10. not inclusive of the soup. but it was really yummy, such that we order extra beef (which is the $10 la).



I even self-created my ikura avocado maki. *yum yum* really love the combination *drools*

after that we went shopping and bought nice LBD for my mum. Dad's stuff is also settle with thanks to da jie & bil.

After all is done, i waited for baby's arrival at raffles city and went to do my ladies shopping. Finally he reach and we were contemplating between dinner & IT show. Since he is hungry, we went for dinner 1st at some place in marina square. food is not bad, but the floor is oily slippery~~

normal but interesting assorted cakes. but we were too full to eat much.

next is the IT Show, the crowd is freaking horrible that i really hate it. originally, my plan was to go there so that baby can get the 1 TB ext HDD that he wanted. But he rejected buying now, yet i have promise mr lim to get for him, so we still went.



i wonder how many of these ppl are here to buy sth.

Sunday plans was pretty screwed up due to baby's late wake up. While waiting for him, i ended up packing & cleaning my room while gaming. We finally had our dim sum at 3pm and went home after that. i was too tired to continue to meet alex, moreover, he told me his dinner break is 530-630 which i definitely cannot make it in time, and he say to chat in the shop he is working. i can never do such things, and i hate this idea. unless he is the boss.

Social Development Network

In fact i do not know what it is when i saw this gift in my letter box. Was a pretty nice card holder, but wasn't my style. After some googling, i realise that is actually a network that promotes marriage among single graduates. Woohoo~ i knew that there were such things, but i always thought it is called SDU. How come suddenly is SDN? Nvm la... got freebie *auntie*

But in about another 38 days, i think they will not send me anything. haha~ coz change of marriage status~ =P

TGIF >> DQA

I'm kinda not in the mood to work coz today is friday! And the 6:30am wake up make me tired (Thanks all who attempted to wake me this morning as my alarm is in out-field).

So why wake up so early? Coz got some award ceremony in headquaters today. I wonder how much we will get for the award. Anyway, still the first award that i get in my working years, so a little excited about it (apart from the early hours)

Reach office before 8am and manage to eat the legendary prata! I would say it is better than outside~ forgot to take a pic though =(

Anyway, soon is the start of the event...


....or not so soon... such that my colleague played ard w my boss phone..


Anyway... it finally ended, and we each get a cert and a hand-shake from CEO.. hmmmm..

my colleague drive us back, and i found sth cute from his car. No doubt a dad of 2 daughters.



Maybe i'm weird, but i find it so cute that i keep playing with it during the trip back.

It is lunch time now, i wonder if we eating ramen today~
